Pass, I don't know if you know me or not, but think of me as your "Granny". You need to start thinking more like a primitive man! If it didn't grow or live, you shouldn't eat it. If it is unrecognizable as a "once living thing", think twice before eating it. If its ingredients are words that you don't normally hear, don't eat it (an exception are the "B" vitamins thiamine, folic acid, niacin, etc.). Want something sweet? Eat fruit. Get some of those bulk, unsalted, in the shell peanuts. Avoid "white foods"- sugar, white rice, white flour. They add nothing but calories. (In China, the ancient nobility ate only white rice and were plagued with health problems. The poor ate brown rice and thrived!) Cheese is a good snack with a few whole grain crackers (Rye Crisp is good). Try a ripe peach someday when you're stoned!
Get some exercise! I'm overweight, but I walk about one hour a day (I work at a school and get yard duty). Ive lost 60 pounds in the last couple of years. I know your problem is the opposite, but exercise is good--humans (as animals) were meant to live off the land traveling miles each day. Our modern lifestyle is almost totally in opposition to what thousands and thousands of years of evolution has made us into as an organism. Modern chemicals may make food brighter colored, less likely to go bad, and make a better "mouth-feel", BUT it is NOT what our bodies require for health!
Get a subscription to "Prevention" magazine, get some vitamin pills, throw out the junk food and get some mild exercise. And as the song says....
"Throw out the TV, Eat a lot of peaches, Try to find Jesus, on your own"
