Man, almost all pig processing plants kill their meat as quickly, and as "painless" as possible. I used to work at the Olymel pig plant here in town. For one, they die by getting a laser guided electrode slammed in their neck, that is suppose to just shut off their brain instantly, but who knows for sure.
And second, those big cutters you see slicing their necks, the pigs are loooooooooong dead before they come to that. By the time they come to that, they have already been killed, their insides completly taken out, and they have been sent through a 400degC fire burner, then they get their necks chopped.

Those videos you see of that pig getting his chainsawed off, is just a bunch of fat, drunk, rednecks who the only way they can take care of something, is through weapons and theirr precious guns. Most meat you see packaged in Safeway or Save-On-Foods, is all properly cut, and handled meat.
Fast food like Mcshits or KFC, discount fast food, is another story. There's a reason why that food is so cheap. Poor cut, and porr quality. :thumbsup:
