Not what you're looking for for cannabis. Wrong spectrum, very ineffecient, too much heat.
Halogen = NO GOOD for growing ..... avoid ... :smokin:
they are correct....the light spectrum is not proper for growing this plant.
You will get way more heat then anything usefull.
Realy, cause I have been using these lights over my planted aquariums for over 2 years now. And thing look nice and green and healthy. I forgot to mention I have no intention of harvesting this plant. I just want a plant in my living room.
I don't know if an illegal 'conversation piece' in the living room would be a prudent idea ... and the halogen is still way too hot, and not recommended ... good luck ... :smokin:
Go to ikea and get one of their desk lamp cfls, they are cheaper then a cfl cost online and you could maybe grow something with it, either way its better then halo's
;)
The too plants types are not in the same circle man. Plus you have water to keep the temperature down.Quote:

you really shouldnt be using halogen for h2o plants either.. the spectrum is wrong there also.. look for 65-6700k CF's for your tank wait till you see the growth explode!
halogen = no no for canna
