Hey has any one used halogen lights???????????
I have been using them over my planted fishtanks for over 2 years now and they work great. Any one have any experiance with these, over there plants????Canadbis Reviewed by Canadbis on . Not what you're looking for for cannabis. Wrong spectrum, very ineffecient, too much heat.

they are correct....the light spectrum is not proper for growing this plant.
You will get way more heat then anything usefull.

Realy, cause I have been using these lights over my planted aquariums for over 2 years now. And thing look nice and green and healthy. I forgot to mention I have no intention of harvesting this plant. I just want a plant in my living room.

I don't know if an illegal 'conversation piece' in the living room would be a prudent idea ... and the halogen is still way too hot, and not recommended ... good luck ... :smokin:

Go to ikea and get one of their desk lamp cfls, they are cheaper then a cfl cost online and you could maybe grow something with it, either way its better then halo's

The too plants types are not in the same circle man. Plus you have water to keep the temperature down.

you really shouldnt be using halogen for h2o plants either.. the spectrum is wrong there also.. look for 65-6700k CF's for your tank wait till you see the growth explode!
