Hi all,
First off, I am a new member, happy to be here! Have a little story for you guys, hoping you can give me some advice. I am a first time grower and was given some free seeds. I germinated about six in wet paper towels, after about 48 hours none of them had cracked except for one that had barely cracked and produced a base root. Due to certain circumstances I was forced to plant them anyways. I put the still closed (one barely cracked) seeds in soil and 1/2 inch deep and have watered the soil as needed to keep it moist. The pot is in a large box lined with tin foil, with two overhead CFL's, the interior of the box is very bright!, and the lights have been on 24/7. Its been about a week and nothing has cracked the surface of the soil. So my question is, am I s.o.l. because i planted them before they cracked, or could they have potentially finished germinating in the soil and just haven't broke the surface yet? Let me know what you guys think!
Much love,
SyleQ
