how large does a clone have to be to cut it ? and its the first branch coming out of the stem would this harm the plant ? and do i have to have rooting hormone to clone a plant.. can i cut off and just put in dirt and put a humidity dome over it?

2-3 nodes, No, Technically no,... but going without drastically reduces your chances of success. And good luck with that method, Just re-answering question #3Quote:

How big? Just about any size growing tip can be cloned. But a branch with 4 or 5 nodes is best.
First branch on the bottom is usually rubbish...but you can clone it. If you can get it 3 inches tall.
You can just shove it in the ground. But if it roots it will take 10 days longer to grow. Spend the extra money on a rooting hormone. Let your branches get some size and do it right. Remember, Garbage in garbage out.
