alright well, first im new to the site. looking forward to being a member.
just a little info about my plants -
i started by planting 14 seeds. all of them sprouted. through the odds i now have 11 plants because the first one that died i dropped pot's dirt clump (plant included) upside-down onto its would-be new medium and crushed it. when i was at 13 plants i snapped enough roots on another child to cause the 2nd fatality (though i tried to revive it.) the 12 plants where thriving till about a week ago when another died from torn roots that happened WAY back when i first repotted all of them... it was inevitable yet i couldnt tell because it didnt actualy start to wanna DIE, but i thought so since it was staying the same size... whata waste of time -_-... and i am now currently with 11 plants... and i fear i might be down to 9 soon...
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
now for the THREE situations that have me very worried:
BS #1) I am at about 7 weeks since my plants sprouted... and this is what they look like: (See Image 1)
this seems to be really slow... and i have friends claiming to know their plants sex already and be twice the size (or be much more mature in the veg stage)... right now the kids are under 2x 23watt coil-shaped CFLs with clamplight dishes reflecting the light (id think it would amplify it?). I have them electronically timed to be lit from 6:30am - 8:30pm (had them at 6am to 10pm then went down the scale from there). i wont start the 12/12 until these peckers are at least 1.5feet...
Question: They were all planted at the same time. why are they all different sizes and worst off, so damn small still???
BS #2) i JUST repotted my biggest child and snapped one of the roots. but it still had a seemingly sufficient amount of roots left on it. yet it looks like THIS?? (See Image 2)
This happened about 4 hours ago and my plants looking critical... this really pisses me off since, well, it was one of the 2 biggest i had.
and this is the second plant i repotted without snapping any roots:(See Image 3)
and WTF MATE??? imean i know that they go through quite a bit of shock but it its this one especially that has ME shocked that it looks like its been killed.
Question: how can i revive my plants?? the big one is my main priority, though it seems to be drooping so much its leaves are too massive for it to handle and are bending it over which cant be healthy... the second plant should have a higher survival rate so im REALLY wondering whats up with that...
when i repotted both of these plants i took them out of their original place and sepparated the dirt from the roots and then poked a hole with my finger into their new mediums and placed their straight line of roots into them. they should be doing fine...
any help to prevent 2 severe casualties??? i cant risk loosing these 2 particular plants... i only have 4 of these specific strains and they took years to develop (my bro's work before he left to Manchester).
appreciate any experienced help i may receive!!
my thanks. sorry for the extensive message...
