Yeah, a monkey bump is the same as a frog..where you hit someone on their forearm with you middle finger knuckle and it causes a large bump on the forearm.

Sometimes John gets in these moods where he feels the need to do this sort of shit to me because he thinks its funny. He's a grown man yet insists on acting like a kid.
