Finding Bud in Hawaii?

I will be visiting the island of Ohau in March. I am afraid to take bud with me due to airport security. I would really like to find some bud while visiting. About 20 years ago I had some friends visit the islands and they told me that it was a pretty open market with people offering weed for sale. Is it still like this? Has anyone had any experience on the islands? I would really appreciate any advice.

All my dealers said they have to get their stuff shipped in from the mainland cause pretty much nobody grows anymore. Hawaii sucks man. It's a rough time to be a stoner in Hawaii.

Why not just take some bud and wrap it up in coffee blend. I had a friend that flew from chicago to l.a. with a quarter of the kb.It worked, and the bud still had it fresh taste/scent. Try it if you want?

I thought Hawaii was a utopia when it came to weed.........boy what a waste of good tax payer money to erradicate that evil marijuana.

Ya iv heard that bud is $20 bux a gram $60 per 1/8oz. in hawaii.

Most expensive bud in the world other than japan. :(
