Finding Bud in Hawaii?

I will be visiting the island of Ohau in March. I am afraid to take bud with me due to airport security. I would really like to find some bud while visiting. About 20 years ago I had some friends visit the islands and they told me that it was a pretty open market with people offering weed for sale. Is it still like this? Has anyone had any experience on the islands? I would really appreciate any advice.

Yes, raids do suck. And it sucks even more bc it happens all the time in Hawaii. For the past few decades, Hawaii has been using all of their money (for decades, they refused to have a recycling program and other good programs we need bc they thought that money would be better spent eradicating pot) to go totally crazy with the pot crackdowns.

I used to live on my parent's coffee farm and the helicopters would circle our farm ALL the friggen time, like every single day. It was ridiculous cause we didn't grow weed at all (my parents are as straight edged as they come). It was just coffee. It's like, don't you guys have anything better to do?

That's why now it's pretty tough to find weed. Nobody knows any growers bc growers only sell to their really really close and intimate friends and stuff (so they don't get found out), or they don't sell to anybody at all. All my dealers said they have to get their stuff shipped in from the mainland cause pretty much nobody grows anymore. Hawaii sucks man. It's a rough time to be a stoner in Hawaii.

Why not just take some bud and wrap it up in coffee blend. I had a friend that flew from chicago to l.a. with a quarter of the kb.It worked, and the bud still had it fresh taste/scent. Try it if you want?
