No.
well, no bongs don't need water, but water is what makes a bong a bong.
dry bongs are harsh.
without water a bong is just a big pipe
no they dont but it depends on the type of bong.
Most bongs dont though.
Yeah what makes a bong a bong is how the smoke passes through water in the form of bubbles and concentrates into a small-volume, super-potent cloud in the chamber. Very efficient way to puff because you don't have a thin current of smoke continually chafing your throat. Instead it's one compact dose injected quickly into the lungs. As far as I know it's ultimately the best way to burn. If I was stranded on a desolate island I would make sure to have a bong with me. As the adage goes "with a bong, the only thing wasted is you."
A bong without water is just to dry.. But ice is the way to go for a bong
sometimes i just use ice, no water, in my bong, for incredibly smooth hits
but i usually use water and ice....i rarely hit my bong without ice in it.
Plus, the smoke is extra harsh when you don't use some sort of filter, especially harsh when you're toking from a bong. You don't even have to let the smoke sit to get a nice, stale taste.Quote:
