    Bong Question

Do bongs need water? I made a homemade one and it would be hard to use with water.

well, no bongs don't need water, but water is what makes a bong a bong.

    dry bongs are harsh.

    Bong Question

Yeah what makes a bong a bong is how the smoke passes through water in the form of bubbles and concentrates into a small-volume, super-potent cloud in the chamber. Very efficient way to puff because you don't have a thin current of smoke continually chafing your throat. Instead it's one compact dose injected quickly into the lungs. As far as I know it's ultimately the best way to burn. If I was stranded on a desolate island I would make sure to have a bong with me. As the adage goes "with a bong, the only thing wasted is you."

Plus, the smoke is extra harsh when you don't use some sort of filter, especially harsh when you're toking from a bong. You don't even have to let the smoke sit to get a nice, stale taste.

    Bong Question

One thing I'm always worried about is the bubbling noise it makes, cause like if someone was outside my door, they would be able to hear it right?
