You can see a bunch of trics and keif all over the shotglass. Kind of makes you sad. cutting a bud in 'slivers' works well for me if i am grinderless.

I use finger/toenail clippers.

Take the weed and hold it firmly between your thumb and index finger over a sheet of paper to collect it. Then take the scissors and cut the weed as it's between your fingers. The harder you can squeeze your fingers together the more you can get at one time.

well if you want to save money i have devised a cheap and easy way to grind your weed
1. go to a market and buy a frozen fish. any kind will do but a fish with sharp teeth will do best
2.put your weed in its mouth
3 use your hands to make the fish chew the weed to any consistency you want
4 GET BLAZED!

Sometimes you can't avoid using your hands, but I like to use a grinder or scissors so that the oils/resin stay on the weed where I can smoke them, rather than on my fingers.

And yes, that may be anal retentive, but all things being equal, why not?

I still like grinders the best, because nothing gets lost and it takes 5 seconds.

i know eh, fuck i use scissors over a grinder anyday, all the grinder is good for is getting more kief and the speed, , and i actually am using the shotglass or small glass cup method, i even made a brush from some old paintbrush i just cut some bristles out and duct-taped them to make a brush oh and using the scissors and using your fingers is good excersize for them, too
