Here's some pictures of my latest pickup. I grabbed it last weekend and it has been curing in a mason jar since. It came right from the grow spot to my guy. I had an ounce, but this is all that's left. I'll post a smoke report in the A.M. Until then, enjoy the pictures.

That looks like some fresh homegrown, and that's the best. It looks fluffy and hasn't been passed through a lot of hands by the looks of it.

It's very tasty. It leaves a nice fruity/spicy resin coating on your tounge. When I first got it, it was a smooth smoke, but it has become a bit harsh since I've cured it. I might have to throw an orange peel in at some point.

It's an indica dominate strain with some sativa in it (possibly kush?). You can feel it in your head, but the majority of the feeling is in your body... well the lack of feeling. It's a loopy high/stone that lasts for a few hours - I wouldn't recommend smoking it if you had stuff to do during the day (it's a good wind down smoke at night). It's kind of like a narcotic pain killer/muscle relaxor. Great for aches and pains.

I just got a half of that from my friend straight from the city last night. Its def a nice smoke, sweet piffy clouds. Ran me about $210. :thumbsup:

It's all about who you know and what you're willing to pay. I have a Dominican friend that grew up in Washington Heights... that's one of the best spots in the US to get hydro and haze, but you have to have the right connect, because they won't sell to just anyone... and if you go in there alone, they might think you're 5-0 and not even acknowledge you... or worse things could happen... especially if you're white.

grade A i gotta question though....so basically if I went and got ssome ffresh haze, and its real crystally like what you posted up, I put that in a mason jar and just let it sit a few days, and it will become better?? im not sure if i ever understood the full curing process, i've heard you put the buds in a jar and let them sit outside for a few hrs a day with lite on them, and then place back in the jar....so just looking for some clarification on that, and is it any point to do this with other types like headies, purple kush and what not?

Yes, the curing process will determine taste and potency. The better a bud is cured, the better will be the smoke. With that being said, it won't burn quite as long as moist bud.

VERY IMPORTANT: If the herb is fairly moist, make sure you let some air get into the jar every day (roughly 15-20 minutes depending upon the moisture content) until it no longer feels spongyâ?¦ once itâ??s cured, feel free to store it in a cool, dark spot (daylight will promote deterioration of trichomes/crystals) for weeks or even months without letting air get to it. You do not want your bud to mold! If it does, regardless of how much money you spent or how good it was, throw it away!
