That was quite simply the best film I have ever seen. Makes the fight scenes in Lord of the Rings look gay. The side shot stop motion sequences of Spartans kicking the shit out of people is insane. I saw it in a regular theater, will see the Imax on Monday...

What more can you ask for from a movie? It had sword fights, disfigured ghouls, a Dhalsim lookin' "divine king," and a hunchback! Not to mention, the captain of the first brigade of Persians was impaled before he could even raise his sword...I've never seen that before! I would watch this movie until my eyes bled.

The Hitler Channel did a real good 2 hour show all about the battle yesterday it was a real good program. I still haven't figured out if this movie is worth seeing by reading all the posts though...I should probably try to see it at the IMAX right?

But those 300 spartan soldiers, if they hadn't went then the 40,000 wouldn't of come later and most likely all of Sparta would of been taken over by the Persians.

So it was a good thing to send those 300, also they fought until the very point where they couldn't go any further, i mean did you see how many fucking persians they took out..a shit load. For the most part a GReat movie..i recommend it to anyone who is bored on there ass w/ nothing to do

Well I went and saw it and it is by far one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Each battle scene got more and more intense. The yelling was so loud it would put a hockey team to shame, and the killing was so brutal it puts Mickey and Mallory Knox in the same spot as the Muppets.

I went stoned out of my mind and I didn't lose attention for one second. :p Def. purchase worthy for me when it comes out.

They started out with with 300, but in the end, they have 10,000, so they never really got defeated. A new war is about to begin with the 10,000 Spartans, so hopefully, a second part will come of this. :)

i didn't say it wasn't a good movie :wtf: i like the movie.. i hope to have a dvd quality copy eventually to add to my growing collection of movies.... it's just, the commercials made it seem alot diffrent.. wasn't disappointed or anything, i was just expecting to see them fight til the persians finally gave in (i don't know the real history behind it, so i have no idea what happened, other then what i've just heard here)

i was i guess, suprised? i don't know if there's even a word for it :p

i am disappointed he didn't kill that dude that calls himself a god tho... i was hoping to see a spear in his neck... but it just knicks his ear =/

i really liked what his wife did when she went before the council tho... that fuckhead raped her, then tried to convince everyone that she offered herself to him and the dude who set up the audience.... and you could almost feel the anger she would have felt (if it had actually happened) and then.. BAM kills his bitch ass... lol... and what she said, i don't remember exact wording but it was like "this won't be fun and it won't be painless" and rips the sword back out....

and then everyone is just like TREASURE!!! lol... they didn't even give a shit she killed him... it's always nice to see fucks like that in movies get what they deserve....

As everyone has already said the movie kicked some major ass, some of the best fight scenes i've ever seen. Thats exactly what i got. :D The movie was kind of dumb, but i didn't go to it expecting to see a movie that makes me think, like everyone else i went for the action. The only thing that would have made the movie better is if they kept going, and shown the battle with 10,000 Spartans or whatever it was. KICK ASS MOVIE

Saw it in imax on monday after i dropped my girl off at the airport. Kicked just as much ass as i expected. The only shitty thing was I wasn't quite high enough. I got there at 1:15 to pick up my tickets for the 1:45 showing (bought them online, suckas who were in front of me who were pissed it sold out) then i asked them when i should be back to line up for the show(they had a long roped off section that had just been emptied). They told me they had just sat the 1:45 show so that fucked up my plans for going and hitting a route. I settled for 2 quick rips in the parking lot.
