Is it just me or do the radio stations in Central Florida spend a whole lot of time discussing marijuana?

I listen to mainly 105.9 (rock) and 104.1 (talk), but I'll be damned if a day doesn't go by without the radio personalities on these stations talking about weed.

While I think it's a great thing that marijuana gets discussed in a public forum, for a guy like me who has been struggling to find a bag, it's torture!!! haha

Does this go on as much on other radio stations? I don't listen to enough of the other stations to know for sure.

Man, there are weed references everywhere you look.

In fact, there are so many references that it's getting kind of lame.

BTW - I listen to 105.9 and 101.1. Rock on.

maybe its cuz i just moved down here but 105.9 and 101.1 are both playing songs from 97-2002...i know cuz every song reminds me of my college daze... wheres the new stuff?

Central Florida is pretty bad when it comes to music. Rock 104 and Real Rock 101.1 is pretty good. But I also enjoy the occasional classic rock Wind FM.

I agree with Sweeney, Orlando kind of stinks for cutting edge music since it is such a candy store rock town.
In my car I listen to XM radio almost exclusively with their pot references.

Tampa has good radio if you can pick up the signal since they are a more industrial stylie rock town.

However, Orlando has allot of good live music that you will rarely hear on Orlando radio unless they make the big time.

Pick up a free copy of the Orlando Weekly, just about anywhere, and it will help get you into the local groove.

my fav indy radio station from NY streams on the web if anyones interested...the quality is alright, but the music they play is always brand new.... www. weqx. com

I listen not to the radio, but when I do its 103.7. Fuck 105.9 they play some lame shit.
