How I love the secrets of this city.
Just today I scored 8 grams of Purple NYC diesel (P-Diddy as they call it) for 100 bucks. Expensive? Yes, but when it was delivered to me in little plastic cases with logos of my delivery service sealing it, the cost is almost worth it. Honestly though, the city is so expensive, for all things. But this weed is incredible, it makes me so happy :).
Yah this was a bragging comment... but I just finished a massive midterm, so I felt like I should celebrate.

that sounds good i live near the city and get buds like that as well. what im really surprised at though is not that you got a good deal cuz every1 does sometimes, but the fact that you got the deal from a delivery service. ive ordered weed from a delivery service one time and got 2.5 grams (of bangin shit) for 50$. so the fact that u can get 8 grams of the fire for only 100 is a really good deal if u ask me. yea its expensive but those are prices around here, but as i sed u got an extra zesty deal.

Man I always get something different it seems. Wash Sqaure Park is a crap shoot somtimes. I just wish I has a more reilable place to get it. It's like i'll walk up top these guys and they say Smoke...I usually walk away and meet and do it....But the whole thing is fuckin seedy. They are like you a cop, im like no, one fuckin dude frisked me. It's a bit of as hassle, and I don't really like it, but thats how I get bud....So I fuckin do it...

im not positive, but i assumed they were trained to sniff out everything... drugs, bombs, whatever. that plus the random bag check stations. never been subjected to a "random" bag search yet but you never know :pimp:

Do they really have delivery services where you can call up not knowing the person and get herb? It seems something out of Half Baked, so is this for real?

I'm not doubting you, but it seems like anyone could get their number and bust them selling. I've never been to NY though, so I may be wrong. :)

in ny i think ur allowed to have under one oz. on you, and if u get caught with that they just confiscate it and its a fine. so the delivery guys usually dont carry more than an oz. also theyre usually on bicycles and no1 really pulls over dudes on bikes. so i mean its a little sketchy but surprisingly safe.

I've heard about these delivery services for the past few years, but I have never had the opportunity to use one.
I hear they do that out in LA too - to serve artists recording in the studio (I guess that's a big reason for it happening in NYC too)

Man, you really CAN get anything delivered to you in NYC!!

I have to say dealers with a delivery service usually charge more than when you go to a regualar dealer where u call up and meet some where. But i have to admit nothing beats ordering bud pizza hut style. Dam it would be awesome if a dealer delivered pizza and bud lol

do you guys that use delivery usually tip the courier? if so, how much? keep in mind that im paying $50/2g. with that steep a price, should i be throwing an extra $5-10 on top to tip the courier?

This is the way to do it. If I was ever gonna sell my smoke, which I'm not, but theoretically, I would deliver. Nothing says "dope house" like a bunch of people running in and out of your crib.

I would. He's taking a personal risk, more so than the pizza or burger guy. All of them could get robbed, but only the dope delivery boy could go to jail for bringing you product. I think it's just the nice thing to do. Of course, I always tip people for stuff, so it could be that it's just my nature to do so.

When I went to NY city I had some crazy bob marley wanna-be guy try to sell me weed....he looked like Hermes from Futurama...it was crazy.

I love New York as a city. It's such an awesome place to be at.

I had weed offered to me all over NY, especially in Washington Square. Everyone was like either tilting their heads whispering smoke or give me bodily indications they got some. There's something about that place I wouldn't trust buying from, but it's such a cool hangout, everyone's jamming on a guitar, drumming, or chilling out. Other than that, you can anything in NYC.

I wouldn't use the big services in NYC, because they're being watched by the police. You're much safer using a smaller, preferably one-person, operation. They busted a large NYC-based delivery service called CartoonNetwork in Nov. 2005, and probably have the names and addresses of all of the thousands of customers as well. The leaders of that outfit were charged with money laundering, in addition to many other offences.

As far as Washington Square Park, that place has had a bad rep since the sixties.

The ex-Dell pitchman ("Dude, you're getting a Dell") got busted in 2003 while buying weed on the Lower East Side of NYC. He probably got off with a fine, but lost his job with the computer giant.

I haven't been offered any drugs for sale, in NYC streets, for 20 years. It's actually not bad - they were annoying. I used to have a guy that sold "loose joints" by Central Park, many years ago, that was a good choice in a pinch when I couldn't score from an indoor dealer. He gave pretty large joints for a dollar each - and cheaper if you got more.

I've been in NYC about 2 months and am totally starving. Have no idea about the process here or the quality of the buds. I'm from Seattle, and they were swimming in skunk.
I do have to say that the delivery prices don't really sound that bad, considering the convenience and all.

The guys at Washington Square Park are usually homeless people or shady black guys who try to sell shit weed and half the time it ain't even weed. Don't ever bother with them.

The only people who use that delivery service are rich people. Rappers, celebrities, artists, business men, etc.

Just get hooked up by some college dealer around the campus.

never heard of purple diesel, but and I though weed was really expensive in Manhattan, and 100 for 8 grams of some serious bud, is sick. For any ny diesel around me I have to pay 130 for a quarter and usually only get like 6.5 g's. But hey man enjoy that nie shit, I know how stressful exams are
