Simple, if you had to choose between a plant which would you choose? I would take the hermie, cut the balls carefully and pray for the best.

in my opinion, hermaphroditic plants should be discouraged - I have to imagine future generations being irreversibly damaged, as happens in dog-breeding, etc :(
