That's right folks it's that time of the year again. Those with a partner get conned out of money, and those without feel like crap because they are a loner. Just kidding, although there is some truth in it lol.

So, what will you guys be doing for Valentines?

I'm going to be pretty unoriginal, taking the misses to the cinema then bringing her back to mine. When morning comes I'll be making her breakfast in bed with a good ol' cup of tea. I've also brought her a very cool lil' book, it's all children rhymes that have been adapted to fashion. Obviously got her a card and a rose too, nothing too expensive this year.

In other words, another normal night, we are trying to slowly phase out the holidays and other societal pressures that don't really mean anything to either of us.

don't tell the gf but i will be taking my mom to dinner though, she on the other hand loves this day, so i'm not completely safe from shelling out cash.

We're not gonna do much. Well both be working all day and having to get up the next morning to work, so not too much wine or staying up late. Prolly hang around and talk like we allways do. Hopefully we'll be spending most of the evening in the bedroom ;)

So far my boyfriend got me a necklace that is a white gold setting with a large red garnet stone with diamonds at the top of it.

It is super pretty, I <3 it.

Then tomorrow we are going to get all dressed up and go out to a cute dinner cause all the other valentines days we have had together I have been working or at school...and this year I happen to have the night off.

He couldn't wait to give me the necklace until valentines day...and I would have made him give it to me when he did anyway...


It is pretty...the weirdest part about it is RIGHT before he gave me the necklace..a woman at my work was wearing garnet earrings and a garnet necklace and I told her I absolutly LOVED that stoned and that it was my new favorite stone..

..and my boyfriend said he looked throughout the whole jewelry store and wasn't going to buy anything at all...except when he saw that necklace he knew needed it.

I see your point and I can understand why some people don't have anything to do with the day, but I guess it's the thought and appreciation that counts. I mean after all you don't have to celebrate it unless you want too.

Iâ??m going to do it up right, as I do every year. Iâ??ll go pick-up my sweetheart at about 4PM, take her out dining in an exclusive restaurant on the Upper East Side of NYC, grab a cab down to Broadway, where I have front row seats to the Disney musical â??Tarzanâ??, and then itâ??s off to a 5 star hotel complete with bubble bath and champagne.

At the close of the evening, after Iâ??ve dropped my honey off at her place, Iâ??ll pick up a bouquet of flowers and a box of candy to bring home to my wife. ;)

I had a good valentines day....probably the best one yet!

We went snowboarding at the mountain together....then we bought a bottle of wine...got ready for dinner while we drank the wine, got all dressed up fancy shmancy...and went to a nice italian restauranta where we had every course imagineable and yummy glasses of wine...

...we then stumbled home after a long day and went right to sleep.

I won't tell you the other details.

well in the past my friends and i had 'FATTY FOODS AND FRIENDS NIGHT' every valentines day for those of us who were single. it basically consisted of hard cider (dont ask me why, for some reason its the only alcohol rachel buys) chinese food, puzzles, and chick flicks. unfortunately the Insane Key School Party Girls' Squad has been disbanded with the onset of college. so i spent my VDAY hitting a 3-chamber and a vape with my buddies Jon and Matt. then we partied down the street. man its good to have thursdays off.

I had an outstanding night. I spent the day at the dr's getting my back cut open. I come home with a two inch hole in the middle of my back. Needless to say that I was too sore to do anything remotly fun in the bedroom, so I ended up doping up on tylenol pm and went into a mini coma. Woke up today at noon and went and got my rx for some lortabs. I prolly won't need them, but it'd be nice to have just in case. Yesteday sucked ass, but today I feel like a million bucks so well see how it goes :thumbsup:
