I wanted to get you opinion on my plants health. Iā??m using the advanced nutrients line of ferts with soil as a medium and noticed while in veg that the amount of nuts they suggest was too rich. So I decided to cut back to feeding them once a week using 1/3 of the amount suggested in veg and the plants looked really happy and healthy.

I just turned 12/12 1 week ago and noticed the bottom leaves look like they are drying and some of my bigger fan leaves turned brown and started to fall off. Does this mean the are not getting enough food ? I donā??t want to go over the trouble of an over fed plant but I donā??t want to reduce my yield because they did not get enough.

If you look at the pictures can you give me your opinion : Is this normal ? Should I give them more food ?

Thanks

What kind of lights are you using to flower? :weedpoke:

Edit: What do the tops look like? Do you have a grow log?

see pics of top.

PH = 6.3

waht is the PH of your runoff, when my ph was low, my plants looked pale too. I'd go for a flush and see what \happens after that. Pro,mix is good stuff tho, i use it too.

I use advanced nutes. They have a nutrient calculator here Nutrients | General Hydroponics | Hydroponic Fertilizer Supplies (http://www.advancednutrients.com/nutcalc3public/nutrient_calculator.html) I used light bloom with the three part, big bud, cal/mg, and carbo load, and it seems to be doing great so far. I used the directions on the bottles and in the catalogue before and burnt my plants. hope this helps.

Chronic Chrissy, I'm using the same light feeding ratio as shown on the URL you gave me ... I'm actually usin 33% of what they are requesting so there is no way in hell I gave them too much nuts ... I think ?

Also, 2 days ago I noticed my PH stick was off by about 1.00 so I was giving my plants water at 5.3 or 7.3 (Can't remember if it was + or -). can this be the cause if you look at my picture.

How often to you feed them. I feed them once a week ( 1 feding for 1 water only every 3 days)

Let me know if I'm doing something wrong.

thanks

My plants reacted similar to this when I gave a good hard spray of neem oil. but it was on the upper leaves as well.

What time are you spraying, You should be doing whehn the light is off and when the plants have enough time to dry before the light comes on.

Every 2 days is a little extream in my opinion. DO you have a bug problem? Or just being a good lad and preventing a possible future bug problem.

hopfully your preventing a bug problem, IF so only once a week is neeeded. And only use it up untill 3 weeks of floweirng or untill decent flowers form. You don't want that oil to be stuck on yer buds when your going to pick them. You'll end up smoking shitty tasting weed.

this is how I have learned to use neem oil. im not saying its forsure the cause. but if you using neem oil every 2 days thats a bit over kill. I was told every three days is plenty and only if an agressive bug attack was present. I also heat my neem oil spray bottle in warm water for 5 mins before use to help mix the oil and the water. naturally Oil and water seperate.
If you have been using it neem oil weekly since it was a young plant till 3 weeks of flower it will have enough neem oil protection to really prevent bugs and their attacks.

You want to try and get your Ph runoff up a little. Try a watering with Ph 7 water. to try and get your runoff between 6.5 and 6.8.

Just one more thing your grow room looks kinda dirty... clean er up a little... hahahah:jointsmile:

Just my 2 cents.....
