im back here at Salisbuy University after a very lofty, entertaining winter break. here are the classes that I am taking:
history 101
english 202
spanish 315
glassblowing 200 (thats right!)
human geography 112
the question is; IS S.U. READY FOR BIZZLE?

Hey bizzle..Just got accepted into Salisbury recently and currently live in Maryland. Now if you had the choice of Salisbury and Towson which would you pick and why. Not sure if you are familiar with Towson. Also, do you enjoy Salisbury...I mean with it being in the middle of nowhere. Beaches are kinda close if im not mistaken?

im not too thrilled with Salisbury, but only because it was my last choice safety school. i did not get accepted to the others that I wanted. but salisbury is much better than towson. it has a small, private school feel but there is enough students to feel diverse and find your niche of friends. salisbury has a very avid hippy/stoner/surfer dude population in which i find myself. you'll also find your gangstas, preps, gym rats, bookworms, computer nerds, DNDs, God squads, and punks. you'll find your group here.
the student activities are plentiful, you can join pretty much any club you can imagine. and the nightly entertainment is avid as well. we have weekly bands, magicians, comedians and speakers come.
salisbury is about 30 minutes from ocean city but i dont find myself going as often as I can.
the food here is excellent and the options are plentiful. i know that people from towson dont feel the same about the food there. themed dinners are popular and even attract the locals.
the town is pretty boring if you are under 21. i spent a lot of time just wandering around the town smoking joints. the zoo is FREE and it has an awesome playground (i love swingsets). the park is pretty cool too. the night life is non existant if youre under 21. there's bowling and thats about it.
salisbury has the tendency to isolate itself from the town. the school is pretty much its own small town. the locals dont like us very much.
the teachers here are great and the classes average about 18 students. the relationship between student and teacher is very warm and open. i talk with my counselor very often.
the general education requirements here are a little annoying but they are reasonable.
i would pick salisbury because it feels like a small private school but acts like a unversity
