If you buy a large amount of it, obviusly your not going to want to throw it away. So shake as much off the buds as you can, then grind it up, and sieive out the glass so your only left with bits of bud. Yeah, you might end up sieving the few trichs on the bud away, but it's better than smoking glass.

If it's small bits of weed just throw it away.

Smoke it in a bong and your perfectly fine.

But, if you do get it dont buy from your dealer.

Good dealers wouldnt even concidering buying this stuff to sell on, the ones that do are cunts and only care about money. Yeah, thats the point of bieng a dealer, but good dealers dont want to loose business like that, bad dealers dont care.

i agree with LIP. The problem is that if a dealers bought this from his supplier, then he's still gonna sell it and if people buy it there still gonna smoke it. The only solution is for us to refuse to buy, and to tell everyone we know to avoid it as well.


on a seperate point, if this whole grit weed problem isn't a perfect argument against prohibition then i dont know what it. Why should weed smokers have to risk buying adulterated cannabis, when tobacco and alcohol users have their product regulated and sold legally?

If your dealer is buying this stuff to sell on, he's a bad dealer. Period.

My advice to anyone is grow your own, not only is it a great hobby, it's better for you, and it's very rewarding.

No it's not. I live in England, and i know people who are doing this. That operating was a piss take. They only found a handful of grows, there's 1000's and 1000's of personal AND commercial grow rooms.

This operation only seemed to fuck up the weed market for a month or so, than it was back to normal.

I can say with confidence that for every grow room they busted another 20 were set up.

This isnt being inported. The weed IN England is english weed, that the gangs growing are contaminating. Then all the big time dealers buy it, middle men buy it from them, and then it travels down the vine to most of the street dealers.

It's not from Holland, it's not from anywhere outside the UK.

There’s more of a point to this.

Its mainly to make the bud heavy! Meaning less bud can make more money - the term is called cutting like with coke.

Supply and demand maybe true and a very good point however people are still buying the grit weed because a lot of people don’t know, wont ask, or don’t see the weed before they buy when sold in 8ths or ques.

The only way to stop the grit weed from spreading is to track down the middle men who also will still sell but will be pissed off that what theve got is shit (as the majority of middle men dealers smoke to) and ask then who there getting it off.

Went up to our local bandstand for the first time in a while today, i'm a bit of a novice when it comes to weed, there's a few people up there a lot more knowledgable than me.

I spoke to them about the whole grit weed situation, they showed me another way to test the weed, take a lil bit of weed, and just crush it between ur front teeth, if its gritty, you can easily tell. I did it with some of my bud, n it was crunchy:( luckily for me, someone was skinning up with some bud he picked himself, so that was clean and nice n stuff!

It's a shame, i went out with a girl the night before, smoked about 3 - 4 spliffs worth, and she came back to mine, and was really really sick from it, i dunno if that's sand related or not, but it took ages to get the smell of sick out my room¬_¬

I still have the contaminated specimen (unfortunately, i'd smoked most of it already when i found out) so if there's demand, i can upload some pics.
