I rolled a jay not long ago, and something was weird. While smoking it, there was a shitload of resin collecting in the roach, on my lips and my fingers (that shit was gross). So I was like what the fuck!! There was so much in the roach I couldn't even puff it anymore by the end. I gotta admit I dont understand. Anyone know what's up with that?!

it was not too tight and broken up finely, with scissors, thats what i find wierd, actually. I'm not new to joints, not at all, and its the first time ever that happens.

huh? not at all...some weed has more tar/resin when you burn it. It'll happen, and it's nothing to worry about.

i had some herb that use to do that, in fact rolling a doob wasnt even possible, i had to vape and bong the herb and it gave such a amazing high.

I ain't complaining. You don't always have a pipe when you have a rolled joint on the go. Besides, I was just wondering why it did that.

yeah i once got some resin on my teeth cos there was so much. its just because the weed you smoked is really dank, and full of crystals.

Basically it's the crystalls [trichomes]

When they're cured they dry and turn into this crystalls, but when they're growing they're an oil.

When they're heated they'll turn back into the oil, and this is what gives you the brown bit of resin around the roach. It's a good thing.
