If it wasn't for Global Warming the ice caps wouldn't melt to reveal a new Paradise. Oh, and the harsh conditions that will occur during global warming will help to put into play Darwin's theory of evolution, survival of the fittest, therefore uliminating all those who can't adapt and prevent them from entering said new paradise! :) Peace!

Temps change over time, it is natural. At one point the earth was covered in ice, most of that melted, you can't expect the climate to continually stay the same.
