I think you could be impatient. Hard to tell without pics. Are you saying they are 7 weeks since sprouting? How many sets of leaves and how close together are the nodes?
The light should be fine.

ya 7 weeks since germination.im not to sure what u mean.but ill try to explain.from the main stock there about 4 to 8 stocks growin off them.those r gonna be my clones.and on them there is about 1 to 3 set of leaves growing from them.hope u get what im trying to say here

ok ok i cut a few fan leaves off to cuz they were like 8 inches wide.im sure that was it huh?
Well, if your plants are 7 weeks old and only 5 inches tall you've done something to them. No plant is that slow growing naturally. If you've cut leaves off this may go some of the way to explain it. The plant will be trying to heal where you cut, so it basically says "fuck growing" and focuses on undoing some of the damage you did. Dont cut leaves.
Make sure the light isnt too close, try moving it away so it start to stretch upwards [not uncontrollable stretching]

maybe your soil is packed in too much, and the roots arent getting enough oxygen, try re-potting it if you can, and keep the soil light and fluffy, usually plants get a little boost from bigger pots when they slow growth... good luck
Don't cut off leaves. They are the engine that powers the plant. Sounds like your plant is naturally short and bushy but by cutting leaves off you have slowed growth even more. No more cutting.

ya 7 weeks since germination.
Germination is when the seed opens. Sprouting is when the seedling breaks the surface of the soil.
7 weeks since germination or sprouting?

yep cause sprouting is different germination----> sprouting should take 5-6 days but really depends on the method used

thx perp mad respect.when i get my computer fixed im gonna put some pics up.there nothing wrong with them.at least by looking at them they look wicked.im thinking they might be just a small bushy plant 2.i know its not overfeeding not underfeeding,my dad started watering them recently and it seem like they are doin better.not any taller but a hell of a lot more leaves.(cuz i trimmed them).it just seems like the soon to be clones are growing faster cuz the massive fan leaves arent blocking the light.but im not gonna cut them anymore.just gonna let em go.ill keep u posted and look 4 me bro.latez

4 one i know the difference between germination and sprouting thx though lol.#2 if i did something wrong to fuk it up wouldnt there be some sort of sign?like fuked up leaves or something?the plants are fine just short.ill take into consideration that the soil could be to compressed and not enough oxygen is getting to the roots.thats possible and maybe the light a bit to close (no signs of being to close)but ill move it away a bit.im using PRO MIX but its an outdoor soil.i was wondering if when i transplant them into 3 to 5 gallon pots can i use a different soil mix?i plan on still using PRO MIX just a little better draining soil.does any1 think itll make a difference?thx peps

do you have them in small pots? If yes, then probably thats it, roots need space to grow so you can have a bigger and stronger plant. If thats the deal move them in bigger pots

what kinda pro mix should i be using?perp what kind is urs?mine the outdoor right now.should i use the organic stuff?any opinions?tips of the leaves on 1 of my plants are goin yellow.i think its something with the ph .boron maybe?idk

yellowing/burnt tips of the leaves is usually nute burn not defficiency. i like promix bx as do alot of others. promix is mostly organic except for a "wetting agent" the add. i asked premier and they said the nonorganic wetting agent is not something that the plant will take up through the roots. it's just something to help the mix retain moisture. i don't know how true this is but that's what they told me.

I use the BX. Cut down on the feedings. Alternate between feeding and plain water.

perp, what are your thoughts about what i said about the "nonorganic" promix bx? just curious if anyone else has heard this before

I never really thought about it, to be honest. I do know that it's hard to water it when you have an open bag and it gets dry and dusty. The water just rolls off it, not like a fresh bag that accepts the water easily.
You're technically right when you say it is organic in that promix only contains perlite, peat moss, vermiculite, PH buffers, plus the wetting agent. But, when I think of organic I tend to think of properly amended soil with nutrients added. Promix is an inert medium and the plant gets all of its nutrients from the nutrient solution. I consider it a more hydroponic medium, so for that reason I never worried about the wetting agent being non-organic.

that's just about how i see it. i like it because as you said it's pretty much inert medium so you can ad all the ferts/nutes and you know exactly what's in there(nothing more than what you added yourself).

use whatever mix you want, its your grow, the defficiency isnt boron, or the stems would look all fucked up, re-potting, (i think) will do the trick, i remember my plants slowed growth a little, (they were in the same pot) and i re-potted them and left them in a specially made greenhouse type box in my garden while i went on holiday, then when i got back they were nearly twice the size, bigger pots means better results, unless you do it too early ;) - good luck
