They burn a bit slower - bonus for me as I don't use tobacco.
Otherwise, same :)
They are definatly a really cool novelty. Thats about it. I like the taste or regular papers better.

I never tried 'em and I don't think I'd like them. Something about the way they look just seems like they are made out of some type of plastic. I'll take the regular papers .

I thought they were amazing at first too, but yesterday, this fat-ass bitch rolled the most horrible 2-paper ever with them and I didn't even get high, so that kinda put me off of them for a bit...

I don't know if you guys are talking about the same thing I've been smoking recently, but I've really been using them more, so much nicer. The ones I get are totally clear, feel like plastic, and are made 100% from plant celulose.

Seriously, how many threads about these have been made so far?

quite a few, but in all fairness, it is a relatively new 'invention' among the pothead community, it's bound to stir up something ya know? it's not too often we see something that's completely diffrent from everything we already have... it's amazing how something as simple as a clear paper could cause all these threads to spawn tho, huh?

They're ok, nothing wrong with them, but they've got nothing on Bob Marley's.

I love my aledas. They roll easy, smoke slow, don't add taste to the smoke, and are made with vegetable cellulose which is a cool concept.
^^^^ i agree... nothing wrong with aleda papers... theyre nto supposed to make the weed taste better.. thats what flavored papers are fore.. but they burn ALOT slower and get you higher, and i think thats all that really matters
Get you higher? What the fuck are you on about, pardon my french. They most defiantly certainly DO NOT get you ANY higher. Unless of course you have bought the cheap ones made of plastic and not cellulose?

One question...why do people over there use tobacco with their joints? I have honestly never seen anyone use tobacco for joints over here..ever.

Well, before i quit cigs i used a small amount of tobacco -10% baccy 90% skunk] because it made it burn perfectly even, not slower, just even. And if you get the mixture right it DOES save weed and you still cant taste it, but if you already smoke cigs there's not real reason why not to.

The paper makes the joint burn slower?
Isn't the weed that makes it burn slower?
Rolling papers are the same for me.

i like those little stubby blunt papers that come in a pack.... it looks like a little joint size blunt when you roll it and it burns SLOOOWW i dont remember what theyre called though
the way i see it.. is the clear papers burn much much slower then regular tobacco blunts, so you can take much fatter hits without it burning so fast, and it lasts longer.. so yea, it does really get you higher
No, it gives you a longer smoking time, but Bob Marley papers burn much slower, they really dont burn all that slow. And yes, i smoked aleda ones, and they are definatly nothing special, just something differnt.
But it doesnt get you higher, it doesnt have magical properties does it? It just gives you a longer smoking time.

yeah bob marleys are wicked nice n wide yet long n thin they allways make a buff joint:D
hell yeah. marleys are what i swear by. i've tried everything they have at my headshop and nothing else compares
People don't seem to understand that if a joint burns slower, you get to hit the joint more times. Thus you waste less weed.
A perfect joint burns practically no excess weed, hits your lungs cooler (because the ignition source isn't a lighter it's burning paper), and gets you just as high as using that weed any other way.
Well, they didnt burn any slower with me, but what do i know? I can roll a 45 minute burning joint... so there you go.
