Who's a fan, who's yer team, did you ever play, if so what position and what level? And whatever the fuck else you wanna add.
I was born and bred a Buckeye like my father and his father before him. Pops has missed three home games since 1962 and I haven't missed too many since about 1993. We were at the Michigan game a few weeks ago and it was simply a religious experience. I also love the Browns, and am pulling for them tonight against those fucking steelers.
I played football from 2nd grade through High School(no drug testing in our district). I played nose guard, linebacker, left guard, and fullback through my various years of playing the sport. I love everything about it and everything that it stands for(save my High School coach he was a dick).
p.s. fuck the gators, they're gonna get swamped in the NC.

I love LSU football, and the Saints now that they are having a winning season. I also love the colts because of Manning. I follow most of the SEC, it is the best conference but always pull for LSU over any other SEC team.
I used to play football in high school as a linebacker but never actually got to get on the field in highschool. The guy above me on the depthchart's mom was fucking the coach (no lie.)
I was actually good at one point, but I didn't feel like doing all the work for 2nd string and the other two backers were better than me so no chance in beating them out. I didn't feel like working to hard when chances were I would be on second string, so I quit before my junior season.
I loved little league though and still play NCAA Football on the PS2.

I like my home team. They are in some kind of rut though. Poor panthers I thought they had a chance again this year. Something about the 4th quarter and 3rd down conversions. I dont know what is going on with them there in some kind of funk. And Jake may not even Qb on sunday something about a sprained thumb, whatever Ill still watch and scream at my tv screen.

Lame European version? What the fuck are you smoking man?
Football (as in soccer to you lot) is a worldwide sport. It is a game where the majority of the time, the football is controlled with the foot.
Your version of football is very ironic, as you hardly ever control the ball with your foot. It also isn't played outside of North America. Even though I know little about the game, it more resembles rugby to me.
Fucking hell, the ignorance here is ridiculous.

I have tried watching soccer on several ocassions. Every game as been either Chelsey, Bolton, or Manchester Uninted. Manchester is always on I'm guessing because they are the best.
I just can't get into it though until the end where they are frantically trying to score a goal. I have figured out a lot of the rules though.

I could never get into soccer either. Maybe its because I was never good at that game, or that I hate running. I love to play volleyball and watch American football and that is it for me. It backwards in my house I watch the football and my husband hates it. Same thing growing up though mom loved it dad hated it.

It's called football becasue the ball you play the game with is a football.

American football is flat out more exciting... a team can be on there own 1 yard line and go 99 yds on one play to score a touchdown, or the same team can be on the 1 yd line going in, and have an interception returned 99 yds for an apposing touchdown. soccer is just to predictable.

Pats all the way for me. We've been a little inconsistant, but beat the teams we needed to beat, and we could go on a good run if we get healthy.
As for NCAA, I only really watch the bigger games, but BC would be my team to root for.

Everything about football is more exciting than soccer. I'd rather take a stiletto to the nuts than watch another world cup, the only exciting thing about it was the headbut and that Italy won because I'm a pisano.
People think Americans are dumbasses?
Honestly, have you ever watched a football game with someone who could spell it out for you in crayon so you can understand what is going on? It is far more interesting, strategic, and exciting than soccer. And that's the fact Jack!
This thread is for football fans not haters, go suck on a scone and play with yer crumpets.
p.s. Favorite football moment/activity? Mine is playing on the kickoff coverage team. It's almost as good as playing long pole middie in lacrosse. Running full speed for 50 yards down the field gaining up all that momentum just to blind side an unsuspecting ball returner or blocker and lay them out IHOP style.
It is called football because the game is started with the kickoff and the punt is the most important play. Knowledge bitches.

comparing football to rugby is like comparing Don P to Franzia. I still haven't heard a compelling argument from these euro's that soccer is a better sport than football.
BTW the kidding is all in good fun, one of my best friends plays soccer for a certain state university and I bag on him even harder. Don't get yer panties in a bunch just because the NFL has superior athletes and a more exciting game. Shit, college players are better athletes. Calvin Johnson is 6'5" 235lbs has a 47 inch vertical and runs a 4.3 40. Beckham ain't got shit on that.

Soccer.
Rugby.
Three different sports. How hard is that.
By the way, another difference between the NFL and soccer is you could never fall asleep during an NFL game...there is no way...even if its the worst teams in the league.
I like the Cowboys. Never played though as up here in the Great White North hockey is the game.
As for soccer, I too find it boring for the most part. However, you can't argue about the excitement of the World Cup or European Cup. When it's only the very best players in the world then the game is fast, skillful and exciting to watch. At the club level though, there are just too many teams and the talent is diluted.
its all about dem redskins baby, well maybe not this year. we really fucked up by sidning that new offensive coordinator, plus clinton portis got hurt in pre season. but the future looks good we have a young qb who is looking like a real baller. also i played all throughout high school, graduated last year i was a free safety.

Well I personally like NCAA football a lot better than NFL football. There is so much more atmosphere, big play, potential and loyalty to the teams that you can't find too much in the NFL. Another problem with the NFL is the enormous egos some of the player have. Nonetheless, since football is the best sport out there, I religiously watch both the NFL and NCAA. In NFL football, I am a huge Redskins fan, although they still have some major problems and watching them sometimes depresses me. In NCAA football, I am a huge Penn State fan and an even bigger Boston College fan. I have family at both schools. I love Big Ten football, people give the SEC so much hype but when it comes down to it, the Big Ten is not far behind.

Lol, bucknuts, know the facts before spewing shit out.
And what in the hell was "knowledge, bitches?" Give me a break. A kit-kat break that is.
And I really don't think you want this to turn into a "what sport is better argument," but just in case, I'll throw a few facts out there that should make things easier:
-European football (referred to as Football for the rest of this post) requires no suit of armor to play. What's with the pads tough guys? ;)
-Compared to american football, Football is 90 minutes of excitement, where as the NFL and alike leagues have about 10 seconds of action followed by a minute or two of stoppage. YAWN.
Which leads me to your question, "who has the better athletes?"
Football players can run circles around players in the NFL. Literally. The average per game is something like SIX miles run. Footballers are far more fit, and honestly, some of the speedy studs like Christiano Ronaldo might give some of those flashy American sprinters a run for their money. They basically sprint for 90 min. Can any NFL stud do that?
That's all I've got the energy for now, but please remember that it's a FACT that 100 million+ people love Football around the world. Now quit trying to pull something out of nothing =)

It's a Plant:
-European football (referred to as Football for the rest of this post) requires no suit of armor to play. What's with the pads tough guys?
Alright, soccer requires no pads because it is illegal to hit the opposing player, tackle him, block him, basically touch him. Have you ever taken a physics course in your life ever? A 240 lb linebacker running at a speed of 15 miles per hour collides with a 225 lb running back travelling at a speed of 17 miles per hour. What is the amount of force upon impact???? NFL hits can be compared to car accidents. "A big NFL hit, with the offense and defense both moving about 10 meters a second, adds up to about 9,000 newtons of force." - Dr. Tim Gay.
-Compared to american football, Football is 90 minutes of excitement, where as the NFL and alike leagues have about 10 seconds of action followed by a minute or two of stoppage. YAWN.
It is called, Strategy. Football is a war. You attack, you defend, everything about the sport resembles war. The coach is the general, and the qb is the field commander. You can strike through the air, or on the ground. You run plays like a general would enact different maneuvers. You need time to disect what the enemy is doing and figure out what the best way to attack his weakness is. Football is 85% mental, have you seen the size of these playbooks, or the different variations of defensive schemes? Football is eleven people working as one to acheive a common goal. What a great game.
Jerry Rice. He used to train by sprinting up mountains in the bay area. Do soccer players even work out? They all look like Christian Bale from The Machinist. Most if not all of the skill position players in the NFL could run down, catch, and crush any one or more soccer players. They are just bigger, faster, and stronger plain and simple and there is no denying it. I have never seen a soccer player bench over 700lbs have you?
That's all I've got the energy for now, but please remember that it's a FACT that 100 million+ people love Football around the world. Now quit trying to pull something out of nothing =)
The only thing i'm pullin' is my pud. That is about the only fact you have, it is more popular throughout the world even though we still have it in the USA and it doesn't get a second thought by anyone besides soccer players. Shit you could say the same thing for meth, it's popular here, but much more popular in Asia. Does that mean I need to like it? We're not sheep, we don't follow some boring, un-exciting, mind numbing, long, and drawn out game when we have four or five much more exciting, interesting, and athletic games.
And for the bitter Michigan fan or Ohio State hater whichever he is. Would you like to lay down some jack where your mouth is runnin'? I didn't think so, save a miracle OSU hands Florida an ass kicking on the likes of the one Miami handed Nebraska back in '01. Charlie Bauman deserved to get slapped like a little bitch. Jim Tressel is too cool to ever punch somebody, have you seen this guy coach? He barely raises an eyebrow after a Michigan victory. Let alone lose his temper.
Sorry but the only exciting thing about soccer is the fans, they are more fun to watch than the game. They should just show the brawls with color commentary by other drunken fans instead of the game. LOL, it's the only way soccer gets on Sports Center.

That is the absolute worst summary why soccer is better than football. LOL! Excitement?!? (Maybe to play, but sure as HELL not to watch) Get outta here...I think (and really hope) that you got this backwards. Seriously, have you ever yawned during an NFL game? soccer is a lot of fun to watch if the teams are really good but otherwise it gets kind of boring. the game is 90 mins but it seems like the teams only get close to scoring a goal like 3 times a game. but american football is always good to watch because of the strategy and the bone crushing hits. if am. football went by the rules of soccer, the whole team would be red carded in the first play. if you could tackle people in soccer it would be a lot more fun to watch.

I've never understood why a lot of Americans dislike 'soccer' =/ I hate calling it that and i HATE when Americans say EPL, dear oh dear it makes my spine tingle. I know a decent amount of Americans who do like soccer but i think more people dislike it over there in my opinion. For the people who dislike it that's their choice but i think that they can not either play the game themselves at a decent standard, meaning without getting pooped on. OR they simply can not appreciate the BEAUTY of the game. They don't call it the beautiful game for no good reason. Watching the ball get passed around 1touch, dazzling players, scoring marvellous goals, getting in those crunching tackles, the PASSION! There are plenty of reasons why it's the worlds most popular game.
That being said I love American Football aswell, just not as much as football. Most English people think A.Foot is really complicated and has way too many rules and in honesty can't understand it. I understand it as much as anyone who understands it would. I watch the double header every sunday they show over here. I loved your description of the game threadmaker. It does resemble war, perhaps chess also?

YES. It's about passion. You have to understand the strategy and tactics involved in a game. Fuck, please don't try and say 10 sec. of sprinting downfield following a tv-timeout or a flag on the play is somehow more exciting. Football is a TRUE 11v11 war amigo, lol, so that was funny how you think the same of your beloved football. There's no thick playbook or plays for offense and defense. It's just 11 guys with a ball, whose objective is to head to goal. Like I said, you either get it or you don't. And clearly you don't.
Like I said earlier bucknuts, don't pull shit out your ass. Football is a brutal game my man. Those guys are moving so fast, and without pads no less, so you can expect injuries of all sorts. And saying they don't work out is just another hilarious example revealing your ignorance. They are, physically, in the best shape compared to footballers.
I'm tired of debating with a child you just makes up random things while holding dearly to a sport so commercialized and drawn out it makes me sick. An NFL game takes some 3 hours to wrap up on TV, yet we see 48 min. of REAL action in that time-span. Go figure. I'll take the higher road and just know that I'm not alone knowing Football is the most exciting and passionate game around. 100 million hooligans can't be wrong. But hey, hold the NFL near and dear to your heart. It's kinda cute how stubborn you appear. ~

Yeah..it is kinda dumb to compare the two....but if you say that soccer is a brutal game...LOL! That's actually laugh out loud funny...and why don't they wear pads you say? Its because its a different sport where there is no hitting, so they're little shin guards are enough to save them. Not because they are "tougher" lol...Dumb argument I must say. LOL any NFL player would shred any soccer player to death...so how are they in better shape? Maybe cardiovascularly in better shape, but not physically...no fucking way.
Every NFL game is so unique...the same thing never happens twice, pretty exciting compared to soccer where its running back and forth the whole time every game while you sit waiting for something to happen lol....ya very intriguing. That 10 seconds is more exciting then the whole fuckin soccer match...and to think there are going to be a shitload more plays.
Once the WNFL gets underway...you can say soccer is 'tougher' or whatver than football...but I don't see it anytime soon. But I know there are a hell of a lot of chicks playing soccer, I think that says something. LOL. ;)

There IS hitting though, which is why so many of these attacks are ungrounded. It's not an actual wrap-me-up tackle, but it's a sort of violence. I'm serious, just watch a game on tv one day. Guys go shoulder-to-shoulder, trying to throw the other off the ball, many times using elbows or arms or whatever. And perhaps when the ref isn't looking, you may dig your cleat into the other guy's toe, or stick a thumb in someone's ass, just to let him know your there. Lol, this is only shit that's been done to me, and I'm only an American playing at a sub-par college level. Pay attention to the challenges in the air. Fuck, those are downright MEAN. I had my eyelid torn open a few years ago because some nut tried kicking the ball, missed, and hit me. Why would anyone want to watch one play, have it fizzle out completely, then listen to John Madden babble for 1-2 min. while they set up the next play. PLEASE. Soccer, exciting or not, is non-stop action. For that reason alone, one MUST have a lung capacity that can break records. And endurance is a large part of what an athlete must have. Being able to bench 700lbs does little for your body, also. You're better off doing pushups. Bench is a very unnecessary lift, just so you know.
And LoL, you saying more chicks playing soccer says something IS true. It says you might be a sexist pig with a narrow mind?? :D

LOL...haha yea I knew that one wasn't going to go over well..but I was just trying to prove a point, but I admit I took the wrong approach, even though I thought it was funny so I wrote it anyway...
Anyway...ya your right about some shit I guess...I'm just more shocked that someone from USA is trying to put down football and praise soccer? LOL...don't you see where I'm coming from. I'm sitting here like "Is this dude serious lol". Soccer is loved by every other country...well...I could really give a fuck less ya know..who cares? I live in USA where the soccer is a joke, so how do you expect me (or bucknuts) to react when you say that, especially since your from here too lol. But, considering you actually PLAY soccer, that's totally different..obviously your going to stick up for it...well I didn't know that..now I do. Still no reason to down the NFL...you really don't watch football like 98% of this country? Hey if you don't thats cool I guess...your choice. I love football, but I love basketball (the playing aspect) more-so which is more similar to soccer, so I know what ya mean about up-tempo...Cheers!

Oh don't get me wrong, I watch the NFL from time to time, but I guess since I never played, my attention is quickly drawn away. I do love seeing an exciting play just like anyone else, though. Like when a runningback breaks free and then it's a scramble to the goal line. That shit is exciting, not denying that. I guess you'd call me a casual fan, of da Bears for a while now, but nothing more.

First of all I am not attacking soccer. I guess I made a mistake throwing a rib out there in the thread title but there was no mal content behind it. It's a Plant needs to stop stressing, and making outrageous allegations. I know it's hard to pick up over the internet but sarcasm can still be used on these public forums, I think you know where I was being sarcastic and where I wasn't, atleast I hope your that smart.
All I have to say about the working out thing is take a look at that picture of Beckham in that milk ad, he looks mal nourished and famined. Take a look at a cornerback or receiver in the NFL(similar style athlete) they are jacked.
For the endurance thing, get over it, if I wanna see endurance i'll watch the Boston Marathon. Watching dudes run up and down a field for 90+ minutes just doesn't intrigue me. For the same reason I don't watch baseball unless the indians are doing good or it's a good playoff/world series game. It just bores me. I played soccer in elementary school, I kept getting red cards because I was "too physical". Halfbacks, full backs, wing men, I get the game, it just doesn't get me too hyped up. It's ok, I am allowed to have that opinion without the soccer-nazi's coming out of the wordwork to attack me and my credibility.
By the way, College football is where it is at. Nothing beats the pomp and atmosphere of a big time college football game, there is nothing like it that draws out that kind of passion in people. Having said that, nothing beats watching the pure talent and skill these guys in the nfl have, it just gets to me how every fucking thing has a fucking plug or alterior motive behind it. It is starting to invade college football more and more now too which I hate. Papa Johns stadium...? How the fuck do you name your field after Papa Johns?!?! I think louisville is a good upstart program but they lose credibility with that one. What would happen if they tried to rename Ohio Stadium Huntington Field, or the big house Ford Stadium. People would go ape shit.
That's cool you play soccer, but this thread wasn't about soccer hating it was about football loving, so I am glad that one fruity dude(no offense) started his own thread where you guys can talk about soccer and we can discuss the most visceral game on earth here instead of debating the merits of soccer and football, which was fun for a minute but is kind of played out and getting repetative now.

For that reason alone, one MUST have a lung capacity that can break records. And endurance is a large part of what an athlete must have. Being able to bench 700lbs does little for your body, also. You're better off doing pushups. Bench is a very unnecessary lift, just so you know.
I doubt you can bench 700 pounds and I will tell you I can't. I used to squat 650 in high school and college but to say that benching 700 pounds does nothing for your body is a ridiculous claim. Spend the next 3, 5 maybe 7 or 10 years working out daily and dieting and eating right to get to the point that you can bench press 700 pounds. You will recant that statement. Bench press involves all the major muscle groups of the upper body. It involves your forearms, you have to stabilize your wrists to move that much weight. It also involves both your triceps and biceps. The biceps are used to keep your elbows from folding backwards if you don't see it and your triceps to actually push the weight upward off your chest. Shoulders are involve because the pecs insert into the arm with the deltoids. The deltoids help pull your arms back towards your sternum. The Latissimus Dorsi and trapezius help stabilize the shoulder blades and also help pull the shoulders toward the sternum. There are even muscles in between the cartilage in the rib cage that are involved in a bench press. The muscles of your lower back and abdomen come into play to stabilize the pelvis so you don't come off the bench. Finally, the Pectoralis major and minor are the main muscles involved in pulling your arms from the parallel position the humerus should be in compared to the floor to the perpendicular position they should end in.
People are calling you a hater so I took my time to point out the flaws in one of your arguments. If you don't think bench pressing 700 pounds is impressive and these muscle groups are useful, go down to your local gym and pick a fight with someone who can bench 700 pounds.
Lung capacity? Have you ever seen the human specimen know as Terrill Owens? He is built like a brick shithouse and when he is not on the field, he usually jumps on an exercise bike. Seems to be working since he is one of the best wide receivers in the game. How about Jerry Rice? His routine involves running uphill for miles while dragging tires behind him on a rope. He also loves to run up stadium stairs. What did that get him? About 200 career touchdowns. I could go on and on about some of the NFL's prime athelets but why? This thread is about the appreciation of football and not the hatred of soccer.

Ahh finally, a gator fan. How do you think the game goes down, seriously now, don't be a homer?
I seriously think it is going to be a blow out, something like 44-17. It's going to be a lot of Beanie and Pittman with a lil' bit o' Gonzo and Ginn Sprinkled in for good measure, might even throw Troy a bone and get him a nice scramble for a touchdown maybe. Sorry, but position for position you guys just don't match up that well.
Having said all that, there is still a chance. Ohio State pulled it off in '02, but the only difference there is we were undefeated. You got beat by a mediocre Auburn team with no ability to pass the football. You have a good defense but your offense seems to stall at times and trip over it's own feet. I think Chris Leak makes too many dumb mistakes for a 4 year starter and Tebow is the future but he is not there yet.

Even if I get the best seats on the stadium.

I have few theories on why Americans are the only country in the world that doesn't like soccer.
1. they don't really have a team to cheer for.
2. their team isn't the best in the world, and they're not used to it.
3. In America, soccer is played as toddlers as the "friendly sport" when everywhere else, it gets competitive and everyone plays it during childhood.
4. For being the fattest country in the world and for being the home of fast foods, I don't think they like the fact that of running for 90 min. straight with only 3 substitutes during the whole game. While American Football takes a break on every down.
no reason to yell at me, I won't be coming back to this thread :D

i like both footballs and think people need to stop putting so much stock in labels. that is all, absolutely all they have in common, pretend like they are called different things. please dont say football players are just musclebound freaks with no talent. and if you are, please dont say lung capacity and endurance takes more talent than strength, neither take talent, both take effort. as for the sports, both take talent and effort. just let it go, soccer is more popular in europe football is more popular here. neither side is going to convince the other. so just get along and make peace.

My college team is Florida state wait what? hear that Tomahawk chop chant bitche's...actually i dont have much room to talk they have gone down hill since last years orange bowl defeat to penn state by 3 fucking points, and at the moment there kind of rebuilding.
and my Pro team is jacksonville jaguars there o.k.
anyone else think college is better?, i mean college players actually have something to aim for and the pro's just rake that bread and dont even play hard.
i think most pro players play hard, the money is there incentive to do that because the better they play the more they make, and in the nfl the contracts arent guarenteed in anyway so they cant just sign a nice long term deal and slack off, or they rrisk getting cut or a contract change. had you been talking about the nba, that might have work. so try again. feel free to like college better but i dont know where you pulled pro players dont play hard, terell owens doesnt represent the entire nfl.

God damn, vegas has us at -40? So the gators are 40 point dogs huh...Idunno I might have to go with the gators with my money cause I see Ohio State winning a blow out, but not by 40 points. I stand by my earlier claim 44-17. Also my Saints Chargers super bowl pick at the midway point in the season is looking mighty good after my saints trounced big D in Dallas.
Also, college is MUCH better than pro IMHO. I visited a couple friends in Talahassee on my way home earlier this fall and had a chance to go to the FSU-BC game. Lemme say this, I have been to a lot of college football games at various different venues. The student section was awesome, but all the other fans were some of the worst, most lackidasical fans ever.
I do like the architecture of the Doak, very cool, and Indian Village is one of the coolest party's I have been too. I wish Ohio State had a student housing complex that close to the stadium. FSU is an awesome campus, much nicer than gainseville. I have been to both, and Talahassee reminds me more of OU in Athens, Ohio than it does a Florida school.
there is no way they are going to keep them at 40 point underdogs that is going to change a lot considering the game isnt for 3 weeks or soand on a regular week they update the spread about three or four times throughout the course of the week before its at the final

Been playing football for about 4 years now, play guard and DT at university level.
Most of the comments you get from Brits talking about football is that its boring being too stop start and that its rugby for nancies. But the breaks allow for a much deeper strategic element and as for wearing pads, it means you can hit harder. I'd describe rugby as a contact sport while football is an impact sport.
As for my team I'm a die hard Raider, just a shame about this year. Still with this years D and hopefully some pickups for the offensive line, some coaching changes and a decent draft I'm hopeful we might get towards a .500 season next year.

Dude, if you haven't noticed we don't give two fucks about soccer. We have football, basketball, lacrosse, hockey, baseball, and the alternative sports like skateboarding, wakeboarding, etc, and many others that are much more popular. There is a reason most kids play soccer in kindergarten and 1st grade and even 2nd grade. Because it is the only sport they are coordinated enough to play. Once you get to 2nd grade you can enter pee-wee football, and start hittin' people. Football is a collision sport, basketball is a contact sport. Football is a lesson in physics.
The truth is a soccer player wouldn't last a day in the league. It is not because he doesn't know the game either, it's because they are far superior athletes. Antonio Gates played basketball in college not football, but he is such a good athlete he got put at tight end, learned the system, and is arguably the best in the league at his position. Football takes a high intelligence and fast decision making skills. Soccer takes....does it take intelligence? There ain't too many rules, plays, formations, so idunno...
the pot continues to stir itself.

You have obviously never paid attention to football or your just not too bright. Football has the highest injury rate than any sport. And you should try one of those "pillows" on and go head to head with a 250 lb man who literall wants to hurt you as bad as he can. Dont be ignorant.

Haha, umm, dude, please don't be throwing out "most ignorant post ever" awards when you say shit like this. PLEASE PLEASE stop, it's killing me. I'll try and give you some facts, though it's clear you'll ignore them with that closed mind of yours.
I'm not saying football doesn't take intelligence, but DUDE, every play is pre-determined. Maybe an audible here and there, but more often than not, it's in some playbook. The only "fast" decisions to be made are WHAT PLAY TO CALL NEXT. And maybe which way to throw a fake after a catch, left or right. Tough stuff eh?
Soccer, played at the highest levels, takes lightning fast reactions, and to quote you, "fast decision making skills." Guys are coming at you so fast you have 1-2 sec. TOPS to do something with the ball. It's just 11 guys knocking a ball around, no chains to move up the field, and no seperate teams for defense and offense. There are NO playbooks, therefore your statement is oh so flawed. The best players in the world have amazing field vision, and can slot the ball wherever they please. Now I know you'll say QB's do too, and that's true to an extent, but that's only up and down the field, whereas a soccer player has 360 degrees and a much larger playing field to make plays.
It's a FREE game, fluid in motion. None of this stop-and-start, 3-and-out-time-to-take-a-rest, football.
Now I'm not saying football doesn't take either of those things you mentioned, but failing to realize the ignorance of your own post troubles me. Both require different types of those qualities. Seeing Hester run in those 2 kickoffs for TD's Monday night was amazing. The dude has some serious wheels.
I appreciate both sports for what they are, but I also know when to not make an ass of myself. You, however, need to learn my friend. ~
