What is the right way?

Okay let me give you the run-down.

My mom believe in giving me weed every week so that I won't buy it myself. She sees it as preventing me from getting caught, and her parental duty. She tells me that the kid is the one who allows her to allow me to smoke. She thinks that if she didn't approve or give it to me, I'd find it somewhere else(true). She wants me to only smoke in the house as well. Nowhere I could get caught.

Andy(her BF) has a son whom his mother has custody of. He would never give his son weed because it just goes against what he views a parents should do.
He wants me to never smoke, or be high in the house. Or smoke their weed. Which I understand, atleast the their weed, but my mom goes on and on how she doesn't want me to buy. she drills it in my head everyday.

Andy's brother is living with us. He nasty man who is a two faces asshole. He tried to convince them that me, or my friend David, took half a joint out of his ash tray(we didn't). He doesn't shower very often, and steals their weed. He blames it on me when he is alone with them, while being on my side while im around him. He does absolutley nothing in the house(he works a 5 hour shift at mcdonalds washing dishes). When he gets home he sleeps or smokes. He got a fucking allowance from them when he didn't work. And on top of that my mom thinks he is spending a lot of money on crack.

It is causing some strife between my parents. My mom REALLY doesn't want m to buy it myself. And Andy doesnt want me smoking in the house, with their weed, or be high in the house.

What do you think of the situation/what I should do?

i think thats fucked up. my friend has a crackhead uncle who steals his cousins weed, who he lives with, and blames it on my friend. i know for a fact he smokes crack because my homies cousin sells it to him. imo kick that crackheads ass and tell him to go to mcdonalds to wash more dishes.

OK, assuming you've been candid and truthful about the facts of this story (I read that other thread where you weren't), it seems to me like it's your mom's call since you're her son. If she chooses to buy you weed and endorse your using it at home, which I'm gathering is her home and not the jointly owned/supported home of her boyfriend or his loser brother, then that seems like reason why you should be able to do that. I personally find her choice curious since she's putting herself at risk buying it for you, both with the criminal justice system and from a child custody standpoint if anyone ever found out she was your supplier source. I truly believe that minors whose brains and bodies are still developing ought to refrain from smoking weed, but I know lots of folks here believe differently.

Bottom line is if she supports you and is the sole financial supporter of you in her household, then that ought to be the determining factor. Sounds like Andy has a major loser for a brother and that he's a bit of a hypocrite for wanting you to follow no-weed rules that he himself doesn't follow.

I do talk to my mom. But its really wierd and I can't go into it without showing you how dysfunctional my family is. Anyhow, Andy thinks she is lieing about her seeing randy(his bro)in their room. And I know for a fact that I didn't take his joint, and david wasnt even here when he had the joint. I think he smoked it most likely. Or my cat ate it, he did eat a dime of mine before.

Either way, Andy is in a bitchy mood because mom is sick and he thinks she should be able to clean the house with flu, because he won't miss work for being sick.

Andy is the sole-supporter for the household, sadly.

Physical pain has limitations, much like your imagination apparently.

Honestly you never explicate your problem very well. You spend a lot of time complaining about Andy's brother which is honestly something you should confront you parentals about.

I disagree with Birdgirl... I don't think its hypocritical for an adult to use mj but not feel its right for children to use. Actually I'm surprised she'd say such a thing. And all in all, it seems like what's being spent on satisfying your habits is mostly Andy's money as you say he's the only earner in the house. I'd suggest talking to your parents (such as they are) about your situation and what to do, rather than a bunch of stoners on a website. And if you can't come to a compromise I'd suggest abiding by the rules of the house that you live in until you manage to move out on your own.

Thats just it, I have talked to mom and Andy. Andy is a dick, but he is good to mom. And if there is a sole provider in the house hold, your saying the children and the spouse do not deserve payment for chores/housework/other things? If so then many house holds are screwed over.

My mom receives 300 dollars in food stamps, and she gets 80 a week in child support(it is actually back-payments that he owes. He has to pay them by law even though he has temporary custody of my sister), and has 5000 dollars on a debit card from her ex-husbands back payments because he finally got a settlement. Now he is just 15000 in the hole instead of 20.

Now, my mom and I do talk, a lot. And we both have the same ideas.


Here is another part of the situation.

We lived in a hell hole called South Fulton. Mom and Andy hooked up and we moved 350 miles away to knoxville tennessee. I hated SF. It had 2000 people in it, everyone hated everyone, a bad atmosphere. It was killing me socially and mentally. Andy got us away from it, and if they break up or he kicks us out, we are back to it. And I could not go through that. Id move in with my uncle in alabama before I ever went back to south fulton. My mom is in a custodial battle with her ex husband. We will win in the end, because he lied on most of the things he used to get emergency custody of her. Mom and Andy get along great when we don't have room mates. It just seems like there is always a family member or friend who is down on their luck.

I am about to get a job. Ill just get 120 dollars a week, but that is 50 for myself, 20 to the house, 30 for gas, and 20 in a savings account every week. So that should be enough for me to just buy from my close friends and get around and eat lunch on.

As for your original problem, that sucks. Mom should give you an "allowance" but then you should turn around and have her buy your weed (separate from Andy's and hers) without Andy knowing, so then you can smoke when he's not around and he'll never know weed's missing from his stash.. he'll just think you spent your "allowance" on fast food and movies like any other "good" kid...
