question about a baby clone???should I water during baby phase

Need to know whether or not to water during clones pre grow. If so how much,

You need to keep the soil moist against the clone's stem but until it has roots you will not have to water it per se. Start watering when you notice new growth or the soil is dry.

as perp said you need to soil to be moist at all times
not too wet tho if you are waiting for it to root
if it is rooted water like normal

right just sketchy as to how big my roots are right now know anything to stimulate development.
