I have two teensy seedlings (no real leaves yet) and wonder how much light to give them- somewhere I heard that non-stop 24/7 light would help them get going- did I dream this? Should they be on 18/6 instead?

I have them in a tray with a heating pad and a plastic cover under flourescents (6) - I took the cover off even though only two of the ten have popped up- should I have left it on to keep them moist?

I am very overprotective of my babies!

24/0 is fine so is 18/6. i personally have never used a humidity dome for seedlings. it just spoils them imo so they get used to the warm moist air then when you remove it they have to adjust to the new environment. i just germ the seeds, put them in a 120z cup of promix/perlite and watch them grow. i never used a heating pad for seedligs either, just for cloning. good luck

i suggest 24/0 light cycle for seedlings it will help keep them from stretching also keep your flro close to the tops of your babies so they dont get to tall and fall over and i woukd get rid of the dome and add a small fan it will help to strengthen the stems so that when there big girls she can hold alot of bud
