Cool, brought my PPM closer to 1000 before watering, will let ya guys know if they burned at all when I go in at six. I doubt they did though. Does the MOAB really kick them into high gear and make them flower to high hell in these last two weeks?

Hi pal!
I'm sorry there was some confusion out there lol... MOAB is a supplement to boost yield and shit mmkay... haven't heard about that one (i'm using OVERDRIVE by advanced nutrients which is probably the same)
I would suggest you to start MOAB at week 5.5 till 7.5
Starting MOAB means you add MOAB + BLOOMING NUTES... it will raise PPMS by 200 or so maybe more depends how aggresive you'll feed with MOAB.
I'd stop all feeding at week 7.5 and then flush with clear water for the next 2 weeks (time they will finish, assuming your plants will finish at weeks 9.5 ... if not, you'll have to recalculate a bit on when to start and stop MOAB + BLOOM NUTES :smokin: )
Any more questions, i'd be happy to share my knowledges :)

I am going to continue to feed them for the next week and a half, and then flush for a solid 5-7 days. I've read it takes less to flush the chemicals out when you are using a soil-less mix such as SunShine#4 so I figure I will feed them for a little bit still. I cut down my blooming nutes by about 20% and used 75% the reccomended dose of MOAB. I think I'll use a little less of the blooming nutes next time I fill the resi, and then clear reverse osmosis water from there. It's a beautiful thing to be approaching the end of this first grow, it's been such a journey... and I thank all of you wonderful people for all the help you've given.
P.S Yes, my plants will finish in 9.5 weeks. You guys all figure 5-7 days of solid flushing is enough, right?

hey pal give it MOAB at full strength for the time remaining and then give it a full 7 days flush!

Yeah, going to step the MOAB up to full strength and take a bit back on the Blooming Nutes. I'm sure things are going to beef right up. Can't wait to see the end result of this fantastic voyage!! =)

Here is the situation:
7.5 weeks into flower
Sour Diesel
29 plants in 3 gallon pots under 2000 watts
Relative humidity 50-60
Temps never get above 79
I feel like I am underwatering from everything I've read but the plants so no signs of anything like that - they are going wonderfully! At times I have let them go a tiny bit, and you could tell they were thirsty, but that's the absolute worst.
I am giving them about 19-20 gallons over the course of three days.
I water each plant for about thirty seconds with my pump, then take the next day off, then give them another thirty seconds the following night. As I've said, from what I've read they are being way underwatered, but the plants show no signs of anything but beauty! The reason I am concerned is because the more nutrients the plant uptakes, the more it yields I would assume right? Are my plants just holding onto water longer because the temps are cooler than some grow rooms? Any help appreciated.
PICTURES COME TOMORROW FRIENDS!!!!!!!!

temperature in your grow room is definitely part of it! In this case your plants do not transpire much if they are grown in a cool environment thus saving on watering! :)

Here we go folks... just a few pictures for you fellow bud lovers. This is my first grow, it was done under 2000 watts, temps kept around 72-75 and relative humidity never gets over 55%.
I have 29 plants total, guessing I am going to get around 1.25-1.5 pounds - obviously hard to tell from pictures that can't cover the entire garden.
I vegged for about three weeks which I thought was a bit too long (this was confirmed by various cannabis.com members - thank you, and you were right) but for a number of reasons I was unable to force flowering sooner than I did. Because of this things got a bit cluttered, so I expect to find some mold, hopefully not much because I have good air flow (two fans in there, another going in tomorrow) Also, it was hard to get to the middle plants to take pictures of the large colas, but the ones on the outside look just fine to me as well.
Hopeful for 1.25-1.5 pounds, we will see though. Obviously it's hard to tell from the pictures, but these bitches have been pouring on the weight in the last week, and I have to assume the last 1.5 weeks will be just as impressive!

Almost time to start flushing! Chop is scheduled for Sunday (a week from today) I usually give them about 20 gallons of water per two days. How much water will I need to use to flush effectively in like 4-5 days?

Nice
;)
Havent kept up with your growth, but I flush the crap out of 'em towards the end. I lift them into the shower room and flush them for as long as i can be bothered, like 20 mins. I think thats probably overkill, probably twice/triple the size of the pot is good.

Okay, so it's time to get a d/h ASAP. My lights off temps have leveled out at 61 degrees Farenheit and SEVENTY SIX percent relative humidity. I have no clue how this is possible. Can someone explain to me how lights on my r/h is getting down to as low as 43%, and then the lights go off, temps drop about 9 degrees, and it goes up as much as 33%? That's fucking nuts.
The lower the temperature of the air, the more water vapor it can hold. So when your lights turn off and your temp goes down, the air floating around your grow room becomes a better vehicle for H2O. Water gets "burned" out of the hot air, so that's why you get the huge variation in R/H in 12/12.
Before I got a D/H, I was getting 60 percent humidity with the lights on and 95 percent with the lights off. :wtf: Of course this only lasted a few days.

Yeah, I put a d/h in there, and now things stay pretty constant.

I have toyed with the idea of just bringing them into the shower as well, and flushing the high shit out of them in there. See, the thing is I vegged for a bit too long and things are a bit crowded. I have it set up fine now, but when I try to take plants out, sometimes things get a tad tangled. I supposed I would do the flushing in the shower if it could be done only once, but I don't want to carry them in and out twice in this next week - seems like alot of work and stress with them being a tad tangled. Do you think once would be enough or no?

Holy cats, razzapiggy!! I went out on tour for 6 weeks and I was away from the internets. Your Sour Diesel looks BEAUTIFUL!! I am so happy to hear you are having success with this grow. You are inspiring me to do something similar, but with me traveling so much I don't know how that would work out.
I shall instead live vicariously through you! :)

Trying to plan my next grow... I am considering vegging for a much shorter time next time...perhaps 1.5 weeks and then throwing them into flower... anyone grown Sour Diesel with a Sea of Green type method? They certainly grow pretty tall, but I have noticed the colas are not particularly large, seems lots of the bud is located on the secondary shoots. Does this make for a good breed to do a Sea of Green grow? Any experiences appreciated.

Your grow is wonderful, Razza! What varieties are there?

All Sour Diesel for this first run, next time I will be growing like 80% Sour Diesel and then 3-4 plants of several different varieties. Hopefully I pick strains that will like the same Nute PPM otherwise it could be a pain in the butt. Will just have to write alot of stuff down and pay close attention.

Chopped one last night (she had mostly milky glands) Not much amber yet to speak of unfortunately, which is a bit weird because I was told by the guy who I got the cuts from that she would finish in 65 days. Perhaps he has been taking his down a tad early in order to get more harvests in per year??
I have been reading alot about different maturation levels of the plants (colors of glands) and it seems some people think letting a Sativa go to 20% amber kind of ruins the point of a Sativa in that you are going to get that couch lock high off herb that is supposed to product an "up" high. What do some of the seasoned vets say of this?

razzapiggy,
I definitely do not claim to be an expert, but isn't Sour Diesel an Indica strain?
I'm not trying to disagree with you. This is what I honestly thought.
Please correct me if I'm wrong-Sour Diesel is my favorite and I want to know allI can about it.

Sour Diesel is a sativa... I think it's 80-20 can anyone be sure? I am posting pictures tomorrow as I am out of town. My yield was great, I got alot more than expected. The quality of the bud is also very high, smelly smelly nuggets... with a underlying "white" look to them
