Hi there, ive harvested my first crop a month ago, and after the buds were dry, i put then in a glass jar, but yesterday when i took one out to smoke, it felt kind of too dry, but after breaking the bud down, my fingers got really sticky!!! Rolled a joint with RIZLA papers and smoked it up, the smoke was really harsh. What could be the reason??? What could be done to bring back some freshness to my precious buds???
Thanks!!!
put it in a tobacco tin(plastic ones) and put a couple drops of water on the spongy cotton thingy on the bottom of the lid. leave it overnight, should be good by morning:D

try putting a small and I mean small piece of lettuce or orange peel in your stash- the moisture will transfer from the stuff put in into your weed-

Don't do anything suggested here, that shit will really leave you open to mold :p. Your buds have only been in the glass jar for a day. Give them more time to let the moisture resurface. These things do take time y'know .

Lol just read my posts man and you'll see how little "experience" I really do have ;). And throwing the fact that you've been smoking for 30 years means nothing. A man can be in the army for three and got shot on the 4th year. Does that mean he got shot because he was experienced? No, he just made a mistake. Mistakes happen that's all I'm saying. I wasn't criticizing anything, I didn't even mention anything about your post besides "Don't listen to it". It's his choice to listen to you or not even after what I have said.

Dry buds would not give the smoke a harsh taste, so re-wetting it would do absolutly nothing.
Did you flush your buds of nutes when you harvested? If not, that could be the reason why it is harsh. Unflushed buds commonly crackle when burned, and give a harsh sting at the back of your throat.
Did you harvest at the right time? If you harvested too early, it will give the buds a green, nasty taste. If harvested to too late, same deal.
Re-wetting your buds will not take away the harsh smoke. It makes me wonder why people would even suggest it.

yea smoking it in a nice cold, even juice fulled bong should help alot. also, if you did use fertilizers and didnt flush before harvest, that could be it

Thanks for all the tips guys! I think im gonna buy me a nice glass bong, that way i think ill be okay, with the ice water and stuff. Ill also be saving some weed, cause ill have to stop smoking outside my house!!! The weed is awsome, it has been curing for 2-3 weeks now, it had a little green smell to it, but now it has turned into a strong sweet smell. Is that ok??? The high is quite nice, its like you are ready for anything, and it keeps sticking to my fingers all the time, lots of resin.
Does anyone use a vaporizer??? Is it worth the price??? Is it better??? Stronger effect???
Anyway, thanks again!!!

Hi there Bavet!!! Nice to meet you!!!
Cooking!!! Are you into that???
If you are, help me out if you can, what would be a nice way to harvest all the goodies from a few buds and turn into a beaverage? Like one glass of it and you are done for a couple of hours!!!
