i just transplanted my seedlings into bigger pots from the jiffy cubes - they were about 1.5-2 wks old. were growing fine then i fed some 1/4-1/8th strength 20-20-20 and the root shot through the jiffy cubes fast as hell.

i used hoffman's professional planting mix, 2 large cups of powered dolomite lime, and a few cups of perlite. the soil feels kinda weird - i think i put too much dolomite lime in it but from what i read you really can't overdo it. my moisture meter pegs all the way to the wet side though when i stick it in the soil - i'm not sure if it has to do with something in it though cause it doesnt feel that wet. i transplanted them yesterday morning, saturated soil nice and wet. havn't watered since but meter still reading max mositure level. i think it's just getting confused or something.

the plants seem to be doing well, although the outer edge of the leaves on the biggest seedling are starting to turn pale green/yellowish - i read this is normal for transplanting as long as it doesn't continue?? i havnt fed any nutes yet since transplant, going to wait 4-6 days until they get over shock. also gonna try and get some ortho upstart or superthrive if i can, hard to find things like that around here in november. attached are some pics. the seedling im talking about is the one in the upper right hand corner of the first pic. also threw in a pic of my seedlings that are trying to get going, but i dont see them doing too much.
