Need help on how to set up a carbon filter, fan ducting and grow tent

together...........I didnt think it would be that hard but then i find out the carbon

filter has only one outlet.......now iam confused on how to set it up.....thanks in

advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also have clamps, duct fan, Y connector, duct reducer

Here's the only thing i can think of please correct my thinking!

Do you set up the fan with ducting from the fan outlet to the grow tent, Then how do I exhaust the tent?

Then with the fan intake attach more ducting then the Y connector on going to the new supply of air and the other going the open side of the carbon filter?

Is that correct?

]the idea is to either pull or push the air through the filter. the filter medium is contained in the body of the filter and desperses through the sides,

very simmilar to a performance cone filter on a car, exempt your filtering the exhaust gas rather than the inlet gas.

how would it work if you needed it on the ground? Like in a small apartment?

Nevermind

But where does the exhaust go to a different room?

does it go back to the intake?

nope, you want the intake air to be as fresh as posible, preferably from a different space from where your exhaust vents.

if you using a tent, ideally, you would run some ducting from the intake of the tent to window or other room, or vent the exhaust into another room.
if thats not possible you want to keep the intake and exhaust as far from each other as poss to prevent re-cycling stale air.
