Flowering a mother

Can i take a plant thats flowering and make it into a mother plant? If so can i cut the buds off when done? and put her back into the veg room for cloning? i got some train wreck and i want to make a mother so i can clone.

Yes you can place her back under 24hours of light now. After about a month you can remove the dry buds.
