Buds smell like hay/grass

i picked my plants about 4 days ago. id say it looks like a qp could be more. the thing is i could i have had a much bigger harvest but i cut my plant down too soon. it was a 15 footer but it just kept falling so i plucked the branches and started trimming. it had about 30 branches. (:mad: my hands are still trembling) the pistills are mostly cloudy and the hairs are orange. the buds are like big popcorn in size, definately needed more time to fill in. I had two other small plants the buds off those two smell like true gank but the majority of my harvest from my giant plant smell like hay. im drying all of it in my trunk right now and ill put them in jars in a couple of days. will the smell improve? is it even smokable? after i dry it will it be smokable or do i need to cure it? something about chlorophyll breakdown.

still going with the trunk of your car idea smart thinkin.. 15 footers sounds like some of the plants from around my way..

anyway ive read that if you harvest to early your buds will smell like hay but it sounds like you cleared that gap.. just make sure your bud are nice dried out (the stems snap).. and cure them they should come back around and give you a nice smell after curing..

dont worry man they will be very smokeable in a month or so time just be patient and let them do their thing...
