Hi, this might sound like a stupid question but how can I keep my plant's under around 7 inches but still get a little free smoke from them? See I live with my parents but they don't mind me just growing one plant on my windowledge.
Thanks

LST (Low stress training), theoretically bending the branches back down as they grow up, (or tying them).

You can do what I did, flower at about two weeks. Your plant will still grow a lot after you switch to 12/12, to about two feet, maybe a bit less, so you'll need to tie it down as it grows from a seedling to make it about a foot or less tall. You can also keep it in a small pot, which will restrict its growth. Also try to get a strain that isn't too tall to begin with, and you can top it to make it bushier.

Thanks a load. So if I keep it in a pretty small pot and top it, will that effectivley reduce its height? I would rather have it wide than tall.

Hey man, you can keep them short even in a big pot. Look at my grow and the LST'ing I'm doing on them in 5-gallon pots.

keeping cfls close may help keep them shorter and bushier, too.

You can either tie the plants down whilst they grow which will help promote a horizontal-like growth or you could top your plants (cutting the top growth tip off of a plant). But people are preferring to tie their plants down over topping, especially if they arent planning on cloning which does seem to make more sense.
