big help with this plant!!

i was wondering how far along is this plant? its a miricle its like this! me and my friend found a crappy pot around the house and just planted random seeds from this bud we had and look at this.. we have no idea what the hell to do right now.. cuz its so far along it looks like and we want to keep it alive! we didnt expect it to even get this far.. its in my basement in this lil room.. i mean we even forgot about it a couple times lol.. the plants like up to my waist.. well past a lil bit.. its crazy but here are the pics.. err actually i dont kno how to put the pics on here.. ahh anyone help?

lol you just dropped a seed in a pot??? that plant in amazingly healthy for the growing contitions, in mid flower period, i bet about a month she will be ready for harvest!! Amazing, did you top it? Where did the light come from? just a little window? Dude if you grew that, then congats!

and dont worry, whatever way you r treating this plant seems to do the job lol, just keep updating with pics so people can help u deside when to chop her and how to dry her

im guessing its the window cuz theres NO light at all.. theres a heater :S.. and we water occasionally.. and theres a fan.. but thats all.. we really dont kno what we're doing or when its done or anything! i can go down and take more pictures if you want.. if you want to see anything specific or something i dunno lol.. we havent really even treated that much at all though lol

dude if ur telling the true, somehow some divine power helped the little girl to get that great. U know some people couldnt make rt that good under proper equipment. I guess mother nature has her ways.. just confirms what i believe thet frugality is the key for a good gow. I envy your buds, clean from chems..

first of all, how long is your plant flowering? Can u tell? When did she start to go white? Dude she looks healthy and dont use any fertilizers, just add some organic fertilized soil, you will find it in any grow shop. Ant thats all i think. (or u can use some chem fert with high phosphorus levels) As for the leaves, the really fucked up, dead ones, remove them. Leave the others, dont hurt them.

jesus christ, last time me and my buddies dropped some jermed seeds in pots of soil we got half inch peices of poo that never made it =/.

yeah, what do you guys suggest i do with it to make it 100 percent healthy.. how much do i water it? and everything, cuz im sure my lame ass methods of watering it hear and there when i remember will fail and it'll die lol.. now that it looks nice i wanna actually try to keep it alive and stuff.. does it absolutely NEED light? or would heat just do it? waht if they start dying? do i just put em up to dry and do it like that?

This is awesome. You could go get some fertilizer, just follow the directions so you don't overdo it. A fertilizer with high phosphorus us what you'll want to use at this stage. As for the light, it definitely needs it, but it seems to be doing great as it is. If you want to add light you'll need to make sure that you use a timer so that the lights turn on and off about when the sun rises and sets, and for 10 to 12 hours per day. It'll probably be safest to have lights on for 10 hours in the middle of the time when it's daylight. If the lights are on for longer the plant won't want to flower. A couple compact flourescent lights that are reddish, or listed as about 2700k should be great. Keep the plant watered but wait for the soil to dry out on the top before watering again, although it should still be somewhat moist if you stick your finger in the soil a bit. once it starts budding it's pretty much done growing so it doesn't need as much sun light, and as far as it being a lil' cold don't worry about it. it's far enough along that it wont die, just make sure it doesn't dry up.

I agree with lip it does need all the light it can get during flowering definatly during the last 3-4 weeks as the buds will really swell up in this period....But if your intentions are to keep it alive then go more light if u can! And as for the ferts you aint got that much longer to go by the look of things , most people stop fert 10-14 days before harvest and by the look of yours u got 3-4 weeks left das all :D

But if its been in those conditions for at least 2 months and is ok.........then fuck it mate jus do wat ya doing......sell some of your shit to smoke......n buy another 9 pots....lol....................an goodluck

do any of yous kno what kind of plant this might be?.. once its ready to be dryed out.. what do you do? just rip it off? cut it off from the bottom? like i dunno.. and once its dried out is it completely done? or do you have to do something esle after its dried out? also how long does it take to dry? thanks!.. oohh yeah, we only have a regular lightblub for light.. yes i kno its terrible but we dont have anything esle! lol.. should i buy a another light blub? or what?

To make a cannabis plant flower it needs 12 hours of darkness and 12 hours of light. You can accomplish this with a timer, mother nature does this naturally toward the end of the year (when days shorten). So if you do put a light bulb in there, you need a timer too. If you leave the light on 24 hours a day you will fuck your plant up.

To harvest it, just chop it off above the soil. Remove all the large leaves and trim the leaves around the bud til you just have buds on sticks. Hang it upside down in a room that has decent air flow that is dark. Have a fan circulate air in the room but don't blow directly on the plants. You want it to take a week or 2 to dry if you do it right, if you dry it faster it will smoke harsh.

After you dry it, you cure it. This is a process of putting it in an airtight jar and allowing the chlorophyll to break down. Curing increases potency and taste. Read more about it in the grow faqs.



If you want to get lightbulbs, go to wal-mart and buy some compact fluorescent bulbs (42 actuall watts) probably says like 200 watt or 150 watt. The little spiral shaped screw in fluorescent. Puts out 2700 lumens if you get the warm white colored bulb. Two or 3 should do you fine. You can get cheap sockets for them at lowes or home depot. If you go to the section that has extension cords look for shop lights. They are like a light socket on the end of a cord with a round reflector. You can pick up a timer at lowes or wal-mart as well.

you dry them upside down for 2 weeks in a dark dry place. U hung each cola separately. After 2 weeks, when they r dry, u get rid most of the big stems making smaller buds and put them in airtight glass jars. Pack the loose in there. Use more than one. U keep the jars closed and u open them every day for about 6 hours. You keep doin that for 4 to 8 weeks. About 4-6 is ok. U can smoke some if u want, but keepin them in the jars that way (its calling curing), u get rid of the chlorophyl and you have the best taste.

thanks.. also about them compact fluorescent light bulbs.. do they look twisty? my friend has one if they are the twisty ones.. but he told me that they are for saving electric and produce no heat at all.. like you can touch the bulb after its been on for hours and it not be hot.. also.. would a heater help the plant?.. dang sorry for bombing yous with like 100 questions lol
