Tincture

My friend's making tincture, where you basically put a lot of shwag in a bottle of very-high proof alcohol like Everclear, leave it there a few weeks and drop it like acid, supposedly. The only thing is he used vodka, which is almost half the proof. He put in like twice as much pot, though, so is this still going to work?

I'm sure that as long as the alcohol is in it, it will work. It may just need to sit a little longer, because there isn't as much.
