First make sure. Then you have to find out if there are any other guys she's had sex with lately.
If she is pregnant and you are just going to assume the baby is yours, then you have lot's and lots to think about. A little life that will need little diapers and little doctor appointments and a place to live and food to eat......for at least 18 years.
If she's not pregnant, I suggest condoms from now on and any other form of birth control there is. IE the pill, IUD, diaphram, sponge.....
I'm not sure what to say. It's common knowledge that when penis penetrates vagina and ejaculation occurs, there is a chance of pregnancy.

Shit same thing happened to my friend. All I can say is they got an abortion early on. And then the relationship was ruined.
Im not all about that shit either. But the sooner the better.

Man... that's a huge bummer. I feel for ya bro. Getting a girl pregnant has always been one of my fears. I hope that she doesn't end up being pregnant, I'm pullin' for you. In the end I believe that by law, it's completely up to the mother to decide whether or not to get an abortion, but i may be just talking out of my ass. I hope all goes well, keep us updated.

No. Noooooo.
If it were far enough along where her breasts were already producing milk, I think she'd know that she was pregnant.
There's many free services that can handle this kind of thing, take you the entire process. Trust me, I know. First, find a free clinic in your area (sorry, I don't know how common these are outside california) that'll give you a free birth control test, or buy one yourself. Trust me, that seven bucks is worth it.

In highschool I had this friend and she was kinda small busted but they were always leaking and she wasn't pregnant.
Most recently I got to know a gril in her 20's, large busted and she leaks too.
Me, I've never just leaked to leak so I don't know the whole story on that.
I could do some googling if ya like.

Very early lactation can be one of the early signs of pregnancy, Acouwaila. The hormones progesterone, estrogen and prolactin begin stirring soon after conception and cause that response in some women. It's time to confirm the pregnancy with a test, which you can get at the drugstore, and then see a doctor or nurse practitioner, who will re-confirm the test and then go over basic prenatal information.
If your girlfriend is pregnant and she, too, doesn't believe in abortion, can I suggest a very courageous and generous option that I wish 99.9% of unwed pregnant young folks would consider instead? Adoption. There are thousands of couples out there who are ready and willing, financially and emotionally, to adopt that baby, love it wholeheartedly and provide it with the advantages it deserves. Something to think very seriously about.
Best of luck as you face this overwhelming time, Acouwaila. Tootsie gave you very wise advice up there about future prevention/protection. Sex causes pregnancies. I know you already know this, but now you've had that proven the hard way, assuming this isn't all a big false alarm. Much love to you, your girl, and the new life.

First thing you do, right now if you can, is go to Walgreens or where ever and get an early detection test!

I think I might like to deliver babies! (And lobby for adoption in the process.) Heck, I'd like to adopt them while I'm at it. Doesn't get much sweeter than a wee babe.
Thanks, Tootise. I always stand in awe of the way you "present," so coming from you, that's a high compliment indeed. Hope you're having a good night and feeling well this evening, my friend! Aww. I was thinking about your sister earlier. Give her a gentle hug from me.
Is she managing to get anything down now? I know how hard this is to watch and how frustrating as hell it is not to be able to do anything about it. I'm so sorry. She's lucky to have you right at her side.
My night is very calm and I wish I could zap you this extra bit of energy I have before I hit the pillows.
And ,thank you for the compliment. It means much from a peer.

Thanks, Toots. I just read her your comment about a gentle hug and she smiled and raised a hand. If she could say something understandable, she would, but that ability seems to have gone away now. Mostly just simple gestures.
She's not really eating much other than some applesauce and an occasional popsicle. I'm going to make your chicken soup tomorrow night if I get to the store on my way home and see if she'll take some of that. I think I may need to feed and nurture her more than she really needs to eat. Her body's stopping those basic functions like it's supposed to on the way to the end. The hospice folks have told us not to force it, but she nodded yes when I asked her about some soup and read her your recipe earlier this week, and so I'll let you know how that goes over. She seems mostly only interested in fluids, so I'm going to strain out some broth or maybe just some broth with a few noodles.
Much love to you, my friend. I'm going to go lie down in there in her room where I can doze and keep an ear out for her. I'll talk to you tomorrow and let you know how the Adventures in Chicken Soup go over at the Bird house.

Get a pregnancy test ASAP!
If she is pregnant, I would really recomend abortion, but I respect your opinions, so if you are against abortion, adoption would be the best choice. But, keep in mind that most adopted children try to find there biological parents later in life. Are you prepared for the questions "why didn't you want me?", "don't you love me?", etc.
What ever you decide, I wish you good luck, and from now on use protection! (just keep in mind that condoms aren't effective 100% of the time, I would know, I am the result of a broken condom, no joke!)

Omgosh, and on this note I think I'll have myself a small cry and go to bed.
I have my memories too and they are vivid. I always say it's harder on those left behind because we can't see them. I believe they can see us and watch us. I absolutely believe I'd not be here now if my dad and whoever else weren't watching out for me 'specially in my "wild youth". We all need to believe and this is how I cope.
I have great joy in my heart that your sister responded to my hug and I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the soup. Buy some new cheesecolth and strain with that so no pieces get in and no odd smells too. I'll be making some too, right along with you.
I know you won't sleep but try to rest some and God be with your family, on call, for as long as needed.:( @---->---

Ahhh Acouwaila it's time to step up and man up. If you think you're mature enough to have a sexual relationship, you should be mature enough to deal with the situation. If your ex is pregnant you have a long and arduous journey ahead of you. I will offer a few words of advice as like most guys Ive been in your shoes and they never fit well. Where to start....
Please dont considor an abortion, my ex got pregnant at the age of 19 and she was adamant she wasnt ready to be a mother. I myself was full of joy and happiness inside, but didnt want to put more pressure on my ex. Stupidly I kept schtum and didnt say how I was feeling until the night before the abortion. I told her how I was feeling, how i thought what a great mother she'd make, how we could support each other and how I couldnt bare the thought of her going ahead with this. Maybe my timing was bad and maybe I should've said something earlier, but I just didnt want to pressure her or make her feel worse than she was already feeling. I was told to shut up and how could i do this to her, well sorry for finally getting the courage to tell you how I feel. Isn't that one of the key things in a relationship, honesty?
Well to cut along story short she went ahead with the abortion against my wishes, for which I have never forgiven her for. Had she had kept our baby, he/she would've been three years old this August.
I rememeber the day we went to the abortion clinic like it was yesterday, it surprised me at some of the age of the girls there. There was one we sat next to that had only just turned 13. On the way to the clinic me and my ex didnt speak one word, our eyes never met. I was dying inside.
When we got to the clinic we were taken to a waiting room for what seemed like hours. She was called to put on her one of those hospital gowns and taken away from me and led upstairs. I just sat there not knowing what to do, or where to go. I sat there with my face in my hands, crying, crying like I've never cried before.
After a while a nurse came over to and led me to a side room, with a few chairs, coffee machine and others like myself. I took a look around the room to see others crying like I and others with a relieved look on upon their face. They made me feel physically sick. There was a door across the room which led out to a little garden, I took myself out there and plonked myself down on a bench and lit the joint I'd taken with me. I took a deep drag and thought of what my beloved girlfriend was doing and what she was going through. I took a look around the garden and saw this HUGE black guy to my left, bent over a wall, dreads falling around his face, crying so hard. Ive never seen someone so upset before. It broke my heart as I knew what he was going through. I walked over to him and put my hand on his shoulder to be greeted with a gruff ' Fuck Off!' I smiled a smile, a smile that told of my pain too. I put my joint out, id only had a few burns but just didnt feel like smoking. I went inside and went to the coffee machine, got two cups of coffee and went back out to the guy outside. I went over to him and handed him a cup, sparked up my joint and said if you want some time to yourself I understand bro. He apologised for swearing at me and then broke down in tears. We just stood there for ages hugging each other and crying. We smoked together told told each other of our pain. Turns out he was in the same boat as me, he wanted to be a daddy, but mummy didnt. We cried some more and then both of went inside to await our girlfriends. A few long hours passed and my girlfriend breezed into to the room and said she was ready to go home.
I remember going to a headshop on the way home and she bought me some shit i didnt want, like buying me smoking paraphernalia could make up for what she's just done. We got the train home and that night we went down the local snooker hall drinkin, shootin pool like nothing had happened. I was so cut up inside, but didnt want it to show it. Needless to say her doing this contributed massively to our break up and what hurt the most was she would never talk to me about it. I hate her for what she did and will never forget it. So please bro, think long and hard before you make any decisions.
Another thing to think about is a girl I was seeing a while back. She had a lot of issues which came clearer the more I got to know her. Im no doc or pyschologist but i thought i could help this girl. But alas i wasnt able to and took the easy way out and decided to leave her. When I told her this she told me she was pregnant and I couldnt leave her. I was absolutly devastated as she wasnt fit to be mother, let alone look after herself and I wasnt in love with her like i was the last time I was in this situation. I was so scared and didnt know who to turn to or to talk to. I decided to speak to her mother as me and her were pretty tight and i used to fill her in on stuff going on in the girls life. Trust me the girl was seriously messed up and i'd be surprised if she isnt in some kind of mental institute now. I couldnt just walk away though, i was silly enough to get myself involved sexually with someone that had so many issues, but I knew I had to be man enough to deal with it. So i called her mum and told her that I thought id got her daughter pregnant. Her mum was so good and understanding and told me there was noway she could concieve and she'd done this before with other boyfriends. She apologised perfusely and told me to cut all ties with her daughter. You wouldnt believe the lengths the girl went to! Fake doctors letters, fake pregnancy tests, you name it, comforting me when I was crying telling me it'll all be okay. How can someone to do this anyone, you cant play with peoples lives like this.
Now im not saying your ex is anything like the above, but id get her to do a test infront of you or atleast go with her to the docs and make sure that she is actually pregnant. I wouldnt want to call her liar, but some girls will do what ever it takes to keep you by their side. I hope things work out for you Acouwaila and if you ever need a chat or to vent or what ever. Here's my email addy
[email protected] im also on hotmail so feel to add me if you wish and remember you're not alone.
Peace

As usual, Birdgirl is wise. If it were me, I'd go the adoption route. That way your conscience is totally clear AND you get to help some childless family realize their dream. Who knows, the child could grow up to be the person that somehow brings peace to the planet, or cures cancer, or something else momentous.

I would die if one of my boys had been aborted or given up for adoption. Even if they didn't come at the best time in my life, I thank god every day for them. My youngest was born at prolly the roughest point in my life where me and my wife had to live with family because of money and life problems, my wife ended up in a womans shelter during the pregnancy because her mother wanted to kill our child and we just couldn't do it. I thank god every day for his birth, and smile every time I see his face. Even if ya aren't with a woman and you have a child together, you are really and truly a man when you do everything you can for that kid and be there for em always. While kids aren't for everyone, they are for me. So much to teach kids, and watch em grow, and do everything i can for them to make them into great people.

You know, this could all be a ruse to get you to get back with her. She might still have feelings for you, and is now resorting to entrapment. Find out for sure. If she IS, then an unfortunate fall down the stairs is in order.
Seriously though, good luck with it. I don't know what to tell you since I couldn't imagine that happening to me. Had a few scares with my g/f before, but it all was credited to lateness and we're in the clear now. Hope it works out, think hard before making a choice . . .

if you dont believe in abortion, and you arent using condoms, and she isnt using birth control, then a good handjob was in order, followed by a good fingerin'
Now that thats too late, you and this x have some decisions to make. good luck, and the next time? THINK THINGS THROUGH!!!

Fairplay daima, but I doubt a lecture is what he needs right now. I've been having unprotected sex for about a year now (granted, I use the 'pull-out' method, but still) and have only just begun to realize how dangerous it really is. Safety during sex is so underrated, a child, hundreds of thousands of dollars, the stress and pressures of young parenting and a potentially ruined life aren't worth the 20 mins (or however long one may go on for) of fun - let alone the last 10 seconds.

UM until a test comes out positive its just speculation that shes even knocked up. I have learned from experience that girls tend to freak out and think they are pregnant all the time. Now a days it doesnt even bother me when they say theyre pregnant, i never believe them, and i still dont have any babies. Mwahah
Ive seen girls lactating too for no reason other than fcked up hormones. Just get a test and next time dont panic like this until your sure. Also, learn the fine art of pulling out. Good day.

Pull-out isn't safe. It's only like 80% efficient since pre-cum is so poor in sperm count - but that's a big 20% still. And we must remember the inside of the woman is like the fucking inside of the house in the Home Alone movie, just riddled with traps to keep you from entering. Only the most clever of thieves make it in. :D

Hey man, if you're man enough to have sex, then you're man enough to take care of your responsibility. You should have known what was bound to happen when you have sex man, so don't act so surprised.
Don't hev her get an abortion. People who do that should have their dickholes/vaginas sewed up for the rest of their life so they never have sex again. I can't stand it when there are people out there who want their own children, but can't because their body won't allow it. Abortions are for greedy people.

Thanks guys for all of your help, really. I am not freaking out, and if I dont adopt I am ready to step up and be a man and do what I have to , to take care of my child.
She is going to buy a test real soon actually.
I was actually relying on the "pull-out" method. While we were dating she was using birth control. After that, we've had sex quite a few times un-protected and for a long time she never got pregnant. I guess I just pushed my luck, huh?
Well she just had her period about 2 weeks ago...and it was this past weekend that we had sex. I didn't know women could lactate this early in the pregnancy either.
Im not sure if she is pregnant or not but I will find out soon. Whatever the answer, I am ready for the consequences.

Sometimes people dont have a choice in the matter.
If they have no choice, then they shouldn't be having sex in the first place. If a person is responsible enough to have sex, then they should know what comes with it. If a parent makes a choice for their child, then that parents should think about what it would be like if that son or daughter was never born, and how they would feel if someone just killed it off.
Even adoption is fine, but can be very hard on a child when they get older.

Don't believe the myth, That you can pull out before you cum...Because there is something called a pre-cum that contains more sperm than the cum itself.
I know it's hard but you really got cut ties with the baby at the very least. You dont have to kill it but maybe somebody else could take care of it better than you youngins'. I dont want for you to ruin your life this young.

IMO abortions aren't wrong, the baby isn't born yet, so therefore it's not a living thing. Some people say it is but honestly, if you don't want to have a child then you shouldn't have to. That's what america is all about man.

There's a haeartbeat 20 days after becoming pregnant. Just because the fetus isn't alive on the outside, doesn't mean it isn't alive on the inside of the women. A heartbeat=life.

MMMM,mmmmmmm you're right. It is too late for him. Just apply prior message to yourself.
peace,

Was she on the pill? If not. She didn't ask for condom? Why would she put herself at risk like that? Try to tie you down? I'd like to believe stupidity..but I dont know. Young girls like to tie down boys.
So do you think that protection falls under the females responsibility only? Uh no, a relationship is a 2 person responsibility. You can't blame the chick for being irresponisble and not using protection without blaming the dude. Hes a smart boy, he knows what a condom is; Did he ask for a condom? It's not just HER putting herself at risk, it is JUST AS MUCH THE MANS RESPONSIBILITY!! It takes TWO people to make a child. You can't say she was trying to tie him down when he knew just as DAMNED WELL that unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy. I hope you get some chick pregnant and realize that ITS JUST AS MUCH YOUR FUCKING FAULT AS THE CHICKS.
I'm sorry I just can't believe someone would think that all the responsibility falls on the girl.
you have 3 choices...
1. abort
2. prepare yourself for 18 years of child support (or jail if you decide not to pay)
3. be a daddy (which obviously won't last, so see #2...)

Sometimes people dont have a choice in the matter.
High school girl with the bourgeois dream
just like the picture in the magazine
she found on the floor of a laundrymat
a woman with kids can forget all that
if she comes up pregnant, what'll she do
forget about her career forget about school
can she live on faith, live on hope?
high on jesus or hooked on dope
when it's way too late to just say no...( to be continued)

Whatever the answer, I am ready for the consequences.
good luck.

you have $500? get an abortion. it wont be easy on you and it will be HELL for her (while shes having it, and the depression for a couple months afterwards), but imagine having to deal with a mistake for 18 years... :-\
ive had a similar situation and i think the abortion was probably the best choice. so does she.

Wow, the biggest load of absolute shit I've heard in quite a while, I actually blushed reading this because its so off the mark.
It comes down to this, the girl is the one who decides when and where sex happens, its not the mans responsibility unless he's raping a girl. The girl is the reciever, and its her responsibility to make sure what he puts in her is protected. Shove that girl power shit up your ass. Men have thing's called hormones that make them want to fuck, women don't, they do it for 'fun', its not a biological need. On the other hand some men are fucking idiots, and if you are stupid enough to get a girl pregnant, its your problem, don't blame all men for a few stupid fucking idiots.

Because there is something called a pre-cum that contains more sperm than the cum itself.
Which leads me to my next question...
Where do some people get their "facts" from??
I had to endure this same painful situation with my girl...
We are in love and used to have totally unprotected sex all the time (now shes on the pill)
i hate abortions as much as the next person
but i was 19 and a premed and my life was more important to me.
I cant imagine what my life would be like if we had the baby.
As wrong as it is, we are human bro, and we make mistakes.
God knows we make mistakes, and he WILL forgive you.

Hey, my friend. I couldn't agree more. Mega has never impressed me with his intellect. But he has always left me standing in awe of his appalling manners and lack of respect for others. I suspect he has that effect on most of the people he meets.
Now a note to Acouwaila. If your ex-gif and you only had sex two weeks ago and she's showing what may be an early sign of pregnancy with slightly leaking breasts, is there a reasonably good chance she might have conceived a pregnancy with some other guy before you and she hooked up two weeks ago? Because her symptom timing is a little off for a conception that's literally less than two weeks old. It's important that you do get that test--and that you try and diplomatically find out who her other partners might have been.
If you have been her only partner and she's showing the breast-leaking symptom only two weeks after sex, she may indeed have some sort of breast problem instead of an early pregnancy. The earliest the lactation symptom generally shows up is four to six weeks after conception, according to what I can find in my obstetrics book. At two weeks, it's still mighty early for a pregnancy symptom of any kind. The hormone levels need some time to build up.
Keep us updated, OK?

people should be aloud to have an abortion if they please, if the girl who is pregnant doesnt want to have a baby, its her body and its her decision (or it very well should be) whether or not she wants to raise a child. yes having sex has its responsibilities and you should be able to accept that fact and take the responsibility. but if there are other options out there that could mean an easier life (in the opinion of the one recieving the abortion) why should that person not be allowed to take that option? until you yourself are pregnant with a child and facing these very question i believe you will not know what it feels like. i dont see it as murder either, ok so it has a pulse, so it is considered "life" but its not going to be able to think or react or do anything short of be a vegitable inside of a woman i wouldnt consider it life.
same goes for brain dead people living off respirators and food tubes, pulling the plug is the same thing as an abortion, just on the opposite end of the persons time line (if you get my comparison)

i agree... and as a comdeian once said "you ever notice the people against abortion are people that you wouldn't wanna fuck in the first place? lol just thought this thread could use some humor about right now.....
think about it from the kids point of view, would you want to grow up, with parents who don't want you, or grow up never knowing who you really are just because your parents didn't want you? i was given up by my parents, and i speak from experience when i say i would have rather not been born, then born to a family who didn't want me in the first place. don't get me wrong, yes i'm happy i'm alive, and happy i have a wife and kid now, but that still doesn't justify the some 16 years of life i lived/live consciencly wondering why i wasn't wanted, and if i wasn't wanted why i was made in the first place.
it's alot easier to say abortion is wrong when you're not the one in the hotseat.

Hey, friend! I'm up late. We're about to change nursing shifts, and I get to go off duty shortly and sleep a shift till the hospice nurse gets here tomorrow late morning.
No, I didn't make the soup yet. Got part of the stuff but the Kroger didn't have celery root and the parsnips were limp. I cannot abide a limp parsnip. (I've never actually eaten parsnip, to be honest. But I'm assuming they should be firm like carrots.) I'll go to Central Market tomorrow and get everything I need and will cook when I get home from that shopping trip in the afternoon. There'll be more time tomorrow anyway.
I'm off to sleep for a while. Talk to you tomorrow!

Any child, illegitimate or legitimate, has a much greater chance of becoming a serial killer,or other type of criminal, than the inventor of a cancer-cure, world peace-maker, etc.
The world has far too many people already, and it's getting worse every day. You are not "contributing" anything by adding to the population. If the truth be told, by NOT breeding you are helping the human race far more than by trying to create and raise new little genius'.
