what do you think they are? wanna post some pictures of strange seeds?

Lol - on a serious note... I am gonna grow some, I like the leaves and my garden needs them - we should all plant one!!!

I love horse chestnut trees! They're gorgeous.
I like REAL chestnuts the best of all though.
My very favorite recipe for poultry stuffing (dressing) contains Chestnuts, Cranberries, Crumbled stale cornbread, Sage, Rosemary, Celery, Walnuts, and Vegetable broth.

OMG it's to die for. I can't wait for Thanksgiving!!!!!

As for space for 5 conker trees in your garden.... what do you have, like a FARM? Lucky guy.

Yes. The small one is an acorn. From a Post Oak or some type of Oak. Southern USA possibly.

LOL - ty AD... sorry to burst your bubble, but, yes they are called "Horse Chestnuts" - know why?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aesculus - Chestnuts you CAN eat, these you cannot, they are "Conkers, Cheggies, Horse Chestnuts... whatever, and they produce wonderful trees.

Now then... here is some Corriander - awesome and great in curries and spicy dishes, know what that is?

All the best Hall.

.

Cilantro, Chinese parsley, my second favorite herb, after rosemary. Actually I eat more cilantro in summer and rosemary in winter. Hmmm. wonder why.

Anyway I'm growing cilantro in with the cannabis! I like to use it for my favorite comfort food, saag paneer!

Hey Hall, you ever make Indian soft cheese? It's ridiculously easy and goes awesome with spinach, cinnamon, and cilantro. You just take a gallon of whole milk, a pinch of salt, bring it almost to a boil, squeeze in the juice of one lemon, stir until fully curdled, then pour into a dish towel in a strainer and put a weight on it for a few hours. Cheesecloth doesn't seem to work, you have to use a flour-sack towel.

Mmmmm!!!

Can I interject something here?
Horse chestnuts ARE spiky.
But when you break the spiky shell open the things inside lokk just like that, and may generically be referred to as conkers, as may proper edible chestnuts.
Everyone be nice!

I know that, all i'm saying is they looked like conkers, could have been conkers, werent conkers, i was wrong, I APOLOGIZE. Still there was no need to get so stressed over it... and this arguement has gone on too long, ceasefire, i was wrong....

Hey Stinky - yeah I love coriander too (again we like the same) - such a versatlie herb, I'll try and stick around for a while because of people like you.

AB - chill my 13 year old friend and read the second link... I think the first one was changed because they do update websites from time to time, but maybe you were just looking to start a fight anyway.

The Common Horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) is a large deciduous tree, native to a small area in the mountains of the Balkans in southeast Europe, mainly in Albania, but also locally in northeastern Bulgaria (Preslavska Mountains), northern Greece and Macedonia. It is widely cultivated throughout the temperate world.

It grows to 35 m tall, with a domed crown of stout branches, on old trees the outer branches often pendulous with curled-up tips. The leaves are opposite and palmately compound, with 5-7 leaflets; each leaflet is 10-25 cm long, making the whole leaf up to 50 cm across, with a 20 cm petiole. The flowers are white with a small red spot; they are produced in spring in erect panicles 10-20 cm tall with about 20-50 flowers on each panicle. Usually only 1-5 fruit develop on each panicle; the fruit is a green, softly spiky capsule containing one (rarely two or three) nut-like seeds called horse chestnuts and also known as conkers. Each conker is 2-4 cm diameter, glossy nut-brown with a whitish scar at the base.

and for your information I must have grown a cock in the night because I am very much male.
Ahhhhhh just found the ignore button..... sweet bliss

im outta here, peace from now on....plz
