If you don't get rid of it soon the rest of your plant's will be seed city. Sorry brother, I lost a few to males also this year. Think of it this way, it's mother natures way of keeping these great plants around for us!

is there any way i can force it to go hermie?
unless you're making seed males are pretty much useless...good for the compost pile but make sure males are covered as they will still mature for a couple days and the pods could open and spread pollen. seems like males are the usual outcome when only one seed gets planted...weird how that works.

I'm 100% sure mine will end up a male, but I don't care very much ... it's indoor, and just one plant, so it won't mess up any others or anything like that. And it's still very good practice and I need that.
