Hello,

You can tie your plants so that they learn to grow sideways rather than upwards. This method is called LST (Low stress training).

You can also put a screen of sorts in your grow space and train your plant to grow along (horizontal) the screen.

When done properly both of these methods increase yield, not lessen it.
