So last night at about 10:30, when everyone in the house was starting to wind down, I went to the bathroom and turned on the shower, and locked the bathroom, and then smoked a bowl, and blew into the shower. Then I wet my hair and turned off the shower and went back to my room. About 5 minutes later my mom opens the door of my room and is sniffing. After she walked away I got up and asked her what was wrong and she was like "do you smell that?! it smells like someone's smoking a ciggarette!, It almost smells like pot!" I'm high and panicking but I keep my cool and pretend to be shocked and i run around outside to look like I'm looking for someone smoking. She eventually gave up and went to bed so phew!

But the moral of the story is, if you live with your parents, and dont have a real good place to smoke, dont do it in your bathroom!

I smoke in my bathroom every day, you just got to be careful. What I do it put a towel under the door (not rly needed but i like to be extra careful). Then I take out a lysol can to spray. Then I open the window as big as possible and turn on the air thing for when you crap. I take a hit and blow it right out the window, making sure no smoke is in the actual bathroom. Then I spray down the bathroom again, sprey myself with axe and use listerine. Then I close the window, take the towel out from under the door, put the bowl in my pocket with the lighter, dump the ashes in the toilet first, then I flush, wash my hands, and go enjoy my high.

Also after smoking and drinking alot I can control myself to seem sober (to a certain point of course, but who smokes that much alone that they are retarded, thats just weird.... unless ur really bored and you have like 8 hours).

after smoking i would simply take a normal shower. by the end the room has steamed enough that any suspicious smells are gone, and it simply smells like shampoo. I always put a towel under the door, open the window, turn on the water really hot smoked, then i would take my shower, if i still thought it smelled i would rub some deoderent on a towel and spin it around in the air for a minute (don't laugh, it worked like a charm). Leave the window just a little bit cracked and i was on my way.

Haha, I've never toked up in the bathroom. Its not a very strategical place in my house, in my opinion. I just wait till my parents are asleep and chief in my room while blowing the smoke out the window, I don't expect them to come in my room since they're asleep, so I'm usually good, sometimes I have not even bothered to open the window. But it can get smokey, so its better too, plus sometimes you can smell it in the hall, and you need to pass my room to go to the other parts of the house.

Best way to not get caught: Don't be high around your parents at all, and only smoke when they aren't home. Night time toking can even be dangerous, even if its midnight. I know from experience.

unless the smoke gets in to the towels, then it stays in the towels for a while,,, i go outside or in my room, open a window and have a bottle of frebreeze, it only works if you go late at night

Back in Highschool, I'd just sit on the couch, and if my dad walks in, I would ask if he wants a bowl. My uncle, father and grandfather all done it in their past and my uncle still does once in a blue moon.

Around here it was called a 'sploof'. A toilet paper roll, a few dryer sheets stuffed inside. Exhalation through the tube. Maybe some extra body spray (for the room/yourself) as a precaution. :thumbsup:

I personally smoke in the basement, but I generally avoid doing it at home anymore, if you can go somewhere else, even outside, it's probably safer.

I used to smoke in folks bathroom all the time.

All I did was turn on the shower as hot as it could go, get it steamy in there, turned on the exaust fan, and I blew it outside and into the fan, which then went directly outside. After I was done smoking, I then took a shower, and all the smells from the soap and such, with the mix if the steam and blowing the smoke out the fan, it didn't smell at all.

The prblem with yours is that you just turned on the hot water and sat in there smoking. Of course the smell won't dissapear. That's like smoking in your room with no window with the heat turned up. It doesn't surprise me that you almost got caught.

Kids, you need a vaporizer! It REALLY cuts down the smell! I've had my hubby walk in minutes after I vaped and he didn't notice anything! Also, you need less pot for the same high. Your lungs won't get crudded up- NO SMOKER'S COUGH! AND what's left over can be used in cooking (some folks even smoke it and say they can get high a second time). OK, it is less conveinent- it takes 5 minutes to warm up and you need to hide the vaporizer from the parents, but it is stealthy, healthy and keeps you wealthy cause you need only 1/2 the pot! I'd still blow it through the window if I were you, doob tubes are mostly supplementary and do not cover the smell 100%. Unfortunately for me my parents lock all the windows in the house and everything so smoking is impossible. I just don't even bother.

alright try this out, its a combo of 2 methods ive done to reduce the smell of smoke, if blow out a window and spray down itts probably be completely undetectable.

so....get a water bottle (poland spring or anything else, doesnt rlly matter) and get a nail or something reasonably sharp and metal, heat it up with a lighter and push it through the bottom, moving it in circles till the holes about the size of an eraser. now, get some fabric softeners (those sheets that you throw in a dryer that smell really good) and cotton balls, first stuff 3-4 dryer sheets through the top onto the bottom, or until you think its enough, and then pop a bunch of cotton balls in until its almost full. k! your done! now all you do is get the top layer of cotton balls a little bit damp (spray bottles work well)and blow your hits in there, preferabbly out a window. it should work wonders!

couldn't of said it better myself dude. i was caught in the bathroom, not redhanded but a situation similar to yours. the bathroom is one of the most retarded spots to try to smoke when you think about it, but at the time, i didn't. i was focused on the fact that i could lock the door and smoke without worrying about someone walking in on me. what I would do was spray lysol, take a hit, spray lysol where i blew the hit, and i would think that was fine. it wasn't. even with the lysol, something just doesn't smell right.

what you need is tobacco odor spray, designed to mask the smell of a ciggarette. and ciggarette smoke is tons more potent and smelly than pot smoke, so this stuff is overkill.

now when i say you need a different spray, thats for other things. don't get the idea that smoking in the bathroom works (that is unless you have a window in your bathroom and a fan you can exhaust the smoke outside with, then with that spray too you are fuckin SET).

EVEN SO, i still do not recommend smoking in the bathroom ever. imagine if someone needs something out of it and knocks on the door, asking you to hand it out to them. when you open a door backwards (opening it towards you) the air gets pushed out to a new space where there was no air before, and your door knocker gets a huge breeze of whatever it smells like in your bathroom instantly.

if you really have no other choice than the bathroom, use a bowl/bong/bubbler (if you use a blunt or joint you deserve to be caught because you will be, especially a blunt, that's asking for it), make sure you have a doob tube, a window, a fan, and tobbacco odor killer.

the smell will not go away like this. you are only fooled into thinking it will because our noses get used to smells after a while and you are tricked into thinking it doesent smell..

ANY time you smoke in a room its going to smell, no matter what. But whats more important to worry about is not letting the smell leave the room.

this technique is the absolute best for smoking. I've used this for over 10 years and it works awesome. It is an ancient ninja secret i've learned along the way. i'm actually surprised that someone else knew about it. As long as you don't let any smoke roll off the pipe, you'll be straight. You could smoke with someone in the same room as you and they won't smell the buds, just the sweet smell of dryer sheets. try it out, you'll use it for the rest of your life, well, at least till you move out.

i smoke in the bathroom every day... ive had some fucking close calls too. the best way to do it is make a lightbulb vape and use that to smoke. blow the hits into a dryer-sheet tube, in the direction of the fan. i dont have a window in my bathroom so thats not an option. also turn the shower on as hot as it can go, the steam masks a bit of the smell. spray some deodorant and youre set.

i usually get lazy though and just turn the fan on and smoke out of my pipe, the bathroom smells like weed for 30 mins after im done. almost got me caught about 3 times so far.

I'm a noob to smoking so I never thought about the bathroom thing til a while ago. I was at a friends house and we grabbed his bong and went to the bathroom, toweled the door and turned on the fan in the cieling. Then when we were done he took a shower. it smelled fine.

my senior year in high school i tried the whole weed in the shower stuff and my mom came in later on during the day and was like, hmm it smells kinda sweet in here. almost like......marijuana. weird. she left it at that cause i played ignorant, but it hella scared me.

now, we toke in the dorm showers at 3 in the morning when the ra's have already made their rounds. its fuckin awesome chambering out the showers.

If you do it in your bathroom you basically just gotta be careful. Make a spoof(paper towel tube with dryer sheets at the end) if you have to.

Also put a lot of shampoo in your shower so it will cover the smell.

I do the routine like 3 times at least a day lol, towel under door, running hot water with soap, grab pipe and paper towel roll thing, smoke bowl, blow hits into vent, ash bowl in sink, wash hands, and done. I do it so much i can smoke a bowl in like 5 min, and its my own bathroom in my room so no one really ever goes in there.

I've got a perfect set-up in my bathroom. I turn on the fan and open the window, Smoke, take a shower, spray a little air freshener, and then open the window. I can't prove it, but I feel like all the steam clings to the odor and brings the smell out with it when I open the window...

haha. the "doob tube" is what we call the roll w/ dryer sheets. anyways, in college, we just light an incense stick and it completely covers the smell. they're cheap too, like 2.50 for 30.

Back when i was younger, I'd just either leave during the day and go to my neighbors house or at night, go in the garage and pretend to play pool and just walk outside and take a couple hits than shoot more pool.

personally i like to smoke in my car in the morning. I just hot box the shit out of it in the drive way. Then I find it so funny after i get done smoking, i lower all 4 windows down and turn the air on and i pull out of my drive way and i start driving to where ever i going , but in the mean time theres this fucking huge cloud/trail of smoke trailing behind my car while ill drive away. For some reason i just find it funny to think of my car going down the street and theres a huge cloud of sweet bud smoke leaving the car. ( I just hope one day a cop isnt passing by when i do this tho lol. Its usualy early in the morning so no one sees

I do like that only in this one sort of storage room thing in my house and I go to the indow, don't even stick my muther fucking head out the window, I just sit on the god damned floor next to the homophobic window and do my shitful shit out the god damned fucking window. I use a little bit of petit tr'e cool incense and It's probably like totally the like totally fucking worst like place in like the fucking house, yo ho. But hell what the fuck is my mother doing hell shit don't let me get caught high.

today i did this. this was my 1st time smoking in the bathroom, but i opened the window, burned insence and turned the shower on. then i sprayed some victoria's secret body spray around & changed my shirt for good measure. my dad didnt come home yet so i dont know how good this works lol

i've smoked in the bathroom a few times. since i dont have a window in the bathroom i stuff a toilet paper roll with dryer sheets and exhale through that, while i have incense burning all around. then i spray with air freshener and go chill.

Never smoke in my bathroom or bedroom.. Got an attic which has been converted, so that is my chill / smoke room.. Beats having to go outside or tryin to stealth smoke ...
