Can I still plant (greenhouse in Cali)

I was just wondering if I can still start a grow.. It would be my first one. I've read that I should be harvesting in october, but would that really matter in Cali? I've always got great weather and the greenhouse would protect it from harm. Can I pretty much grow year round?

If you're in Cali in Columbia then go ahead and plant your sativas...if you're in Cali as in California then forget about an outdoor grow until next spring.
