My plants have brown dead patches on some of the lower leaves, any ideas what that may be from?

Also are those buds I see? Could I experiment, smoke and dry one?

If they aren't buds how long do you think until they are?

Yes those are buds and if you want to test them just wait and get a sample a week before you think your ready to harvest. Also why is the leaves wet? I hope no water hit the buds :eek:.

Yeah those are flowering sites/buds they are not close to mature yet so
dont pick any off the plant yet no matter how tempting it maybe.

That looks like some kinda bug has been munching on your lower
leafs.

And dont worrie about rain hitting your plant outside that happens
in nature:D

any ideas how long it will take to get smokable buds? It's growing outside I think it might get too much shade but I can't put it anywhere else for now.

Can't be sure about the lower leaves problem, they do start to die in flowering but seems a little early. I'd try flushing it out, you may have a nute lock out and it won't do it any harm even if it dosn't.
I'd guess about 6 weeks till it's done, if your desperate to see what it smokes like you can probably get something decent in about 4 weeks, just choose carefully, don't be gready! ;)
