calling all experienced growers... need advice

i have 2 plants and was thinking of cutting one to make the stem split into two, i just had a few questions i need answered first...

1. where do i cut it? eg. how many junctions from the top?
2. is there a certain height it needs to be before i do it?
3. should i still give it light afterwards?
4. is there any risk of killing it?

i have attached a photo to make it easier to answer the questions, just save it, mark a line where i shld cut it and post it up on here,

lol u dont cut like down the middle of the stem dude....u cut the new starting shoots/nodes........cutting the stem down the mddle will probably kill it or stress it to hermie
