hey i was wondering how muchthe electricity bill will go up for using a 600 watt light and how much it would go up for using a 1,000 watt light. i want to use it 18/6 for the vegetation stage and 12/12 for the flowering. ty in advance. how much wil electriicity bill be going UP!!!

Joe, a little math? Look on the juice bill, how much per kW hour do you pay? Multiply 600*kW hour cost*hours on, that will give you the answer. Do the same for your 1000 watter and then add the two together and you got your answer. kW hour charges vary from state to state.

it should tell you on your electricity bill, or if not, look up your electricity supplier on the net.

Mine went up about 20$ during veg and about 12-13$ during flower (400W MH for veg, 400W HPS for flower)

the 100watt light didnt raise it as the air conditoner would my 150watt light uses about 10 bucks to run 24/7

house or apt. House, no worries with that little. Just pay your bill so no one ever has a reason to look. I run a 1k hps and like 6 fans...only up like 80 buks.

it would be good if you had big panels on you roof. Those cost like $20,000 here in San Diego. The cool thing is you can generate so much electricity,m you can sell the excess back to the power company and actually get paid for generating the stuff.
