SO in the UK there is going to be a ban on smoking indoors (in public) How would this effect Coffee Shops? If they Banned smoking indoors?
ANd if it got decriminalized in the UK would there be a law banning smoking in coffee shops?

I'm thinking you mean that if cannabis was legalised and sold through coffeeshops, would customers be allowed to smoke it in the cafe/shop?
Don't know the answer exactly but all along Edgware Road near London's Marble Arch, are sheesha cafes. They will most likely go underground....some literally. I've seen it.
I reckon that you wouldn't be allowed to smoke your goods in the place of purchase.:stoned:

legalisation would be nice but decriminalisation is enough, then there's no crime involved with the purchase of marijuana.
it's not legal in holland and we have no real problems here.

you wanna get rid of blair for starters and put the liberal party in charge, yes there shit but so are the rest. liberals in charge wouldn't know what to do so the people could make surgestions for them.
there's been talks here in holland about the same thing as there could be an europe wide smoking ban in all work places. but the law is on tobacco smoking in the work place and not good old mary jane, so it will be able to continue here if and when this law comes into effect. so i would think if the uk allows coffeeshops they will use the same loophole. :stoned:

that would be good, but the voting system in the UK means the Liberals will never come into power, even a hung parliament is a faint hope for them.
interesting idea about the loophole in the ban! :-)

decriminalisation will happen in many countrys, alot of countrys are now running test for medicinal use and some countrys are allowing coffeeshops to be opened as a test to see if crime will increase/decrease. so give it time it will happen.

in holland were only allowed 30g at home, on the street were only allowed to carry 5g and a coffeeshop can only sell you 5g a day.
that coffeeshop looks pretty cool. like the bong on the wall. :stoned:
