herbals log day 7

good morning all :-) hope we're all well , heres a couple of pics of my babies :-) there 1 week from breaking soil and are white widow , i know very early but im a virgin grower and am soooooooo proud of em !! im thinking of replacing the family portaits with them !! lol im new to all this so am going for simplicity most of all , you can get so caught up in all the technicalities of growing that it all seems hard work which is why this is really the first time ive bothered growing. im just in plain old potting compost with flo. lights on 18/6 cycle. to be honest if i get a smoke out of them ill be happy not looking for monster weight , i was thinking of switching to 12/12 after they gets around 18" tall , what chances me getting a smoke out of them for xmas?? im a simple man who doesnt like to think too much and likes an easy life :-) as time goes by i may look deeper into this growing thing but for now i just love to look at them :-) all your help so far has been much appreaciated thank you, any simple tips for me will be very welcome , stay cool all, herbal.

cheers spruce :-) anyone know how much i should be watering these? im doing about a shot glass worth in the morning and at night. just keeping the soil moist, should i be spraying the leaves as they grow with water?

lol,Herbal - I remember when I planted a seed that I found within a batch of weed that I bought, I was "hehehehehe look at those beauties!!" can deffo relate to your excitement.
They turned out to be male plants in the end, and died all of a sudden :(

Still, it was all done 'tongue-in-cheek', but they grew to 18" or so.
Such an attractive plant, I think lol

good luck with the grow, dude - I am thinking of embarking into the realms of 'the green fingered' soon, so will watch your efforts for some tips lol

cheers rez, i know its silly but you dont half get giddy when you see them grow !! lol of course i know all the hard work is ahead but hey c'est le vie . as for asking me for tips hmmmmmm lol im sure theres better on here for that lol im hopeing all will pass on there knowledge to me and im sure ill return in the future to new growers like myself :-) asking me for tips now would be like asking bush and blair for tips on world wide peace !! ;-) stay cool all, herbal.

my my im waffeling on like an old woman at a bus stop today !!! im looking for some weed help actually but read a few posts and started to type !! ok heres a few questions if you would indulge me :-) how much should i be watering my plants ? there a week old and about 3" high white widow. i like to be natural in all things hate chemicals , what should i add to the soil to "feed" my babies? i hear alot about nutriants what natural nutriants could help and are they really needed? im using floresant lights there about 2" from the top of the plant is this right hight to have them? should i spay the leaves with water? ok im sure you experianced growers are haveing fits of laughter at my silly questions but im a virgin please be gentle :-) till later all, stay cool , herbal.

i recommend ya go hydro. It just works better in my opinion. Having a marihuana tree in the back yard is great too though LoL
